Tim and Helen are a great team! I have ordered about 250ml of liquid from them so far and it comes fast and tastes great! I also own a bombshell and I really am happy with it. Could be a connection problem. I had to send the first Bombshell I got back, because when I got it, it had a wire loose off the switch. If I held my pv just right, I could get a vape. I called Tim, and he shot me another top in the mail, while I continued to use my old top. I did take the top apart and found the loose connection. I had to put some more wire in the top to make it reconnect, and the switch wouldn't get back together, so I took everything out of the top and turned it into a Chuck. I just put a Chuck switch on it, and resoldered everything on it, and it worked great, but this pv was for my wife, and she wanted the recessed switch, so if it breaks down, I at least know I can make a Chuck out of it pretty easy.

Update: got my Bombshell back, and I can't even use it, cause my wife has commandeered it and hasn't let go of it for 3 months now! Seems to be a sturdy piece of equipment! My wife is running 6 volts on it, and loving it.

I bought a Bombshell. The switch is underrated and didn't work properly on mine from day 1. Sent it back and got a refund. Using a 500mA tact switch on 2.5A is asking for trouble, and they will burn out sooner rather than later.

My wife uses the 18650aw 3000mah battery with LiquidXpress Cartomizers, or sometimes she goes with the 2 - 3volt tenergy batts for a 6 volt vape. She's been using it for over 3 months now with no problems. She likes the 2.0 or 2.5 ohm atties. 2 with the 3.7 and 2.5 with the 6 volt.

Hey, I just picked up a set of these, looked like an awesome deal for 4 batts w/ charger. My concern was getting something that no one had tried (battery discharge rates etc...) but this was just the ticket for me to try 6v vaping... Thank you. Other folks have said that once you go to 6v that the vapor is great but the flavor gets crushed? What has been your experience and what juice do you normally vape?

I use the LiquidXpress.com 510 cartos prefilled or not. Their juice burns great at 6v. BackwoodsBrew.com has good 6v juice. TastyVapors.com has Bananna Nut Bread that tastes like it just came out of the oven. Basically the same stuff I was vaping at 3.7 all tastes better to me at 6v. LiquidXpress ran out of cartos once, so I ordered some from VaporKings. Their juice tastes a little burnt at 6v, except for Red and White. I have found I can smoke lower nic juices such as 12mg or 18mg instead of my usual 24 or 26mg. I take way shorter drags off the pv than I used to. Plus, it's fun to try all the juices out at 6v and decide for yourself! I know you will love those batts! That guy on ebay is pretty fast on shipping as well. I think I got my first set of identical ones at batterjunction.com for 28.95 plus shipping, and then I found that guy on ebay who had the same ones for 24.95 and free shipping! Saved 8 bucks!

Hot Vapes rules. I used to live about 6 or 7 blocks from them, and Tim and Helen were always awesome and accommodating by letting me stop by to pick up gear. I've got two bombshells from them. Excellent quality. Their liquids are even better. I'm completely and utterly hooked on Cinnamon Arbalest. Their flights make it easy to try out new liquids too, which is awesome.

I accidentally got some juice roll down the side and into the button hole of my Bombshell - it`s working OK after I blew it out and dried it off (it wasn`t much really) but it did make the device fire up constantly when I screwed the battery in fully.

It`s not doing it now obviously, but I wanted to know how to clean out the battery head enclosure properly should anything like that happen again.

I didn`t want to just try to unscrew the 510 connector in case it was somehow sealed inside, so thought it best to ask directly.

I`ve tried to ask elsewhere.....I`m not able to use the contact form on the HV site for some reason & have left a "Tweet" but there seems to be no-one at home...do they check in here ?

Ahhh, the juice in the switch. Canned air or something like that. You can't take the 510 connector off, and you can't open the top. I mean you can, but it's a pain and doesn't go back like it was. I had a messed up switch, so I tore the guts out of the top and put my own switch on it. I couldn't solder back to their 510 connector, so I drilled theirs out and put a madvapes in with a little glue. Works like a charm now. Unfortunately it doesn't have the recessed switch, so I ordered another top, to have a spare if it happens again.

OK, thanks for that, I thought that might be the case...not being able to simply disassemble, clean & reverse.

IF it should happen again, which I`ve no intention of but accidents do happen - I`ll just blow it out as much as possible & hope for the best.

I just recieved my BOMBSHELL in the mail today . I opened it ,admired it,loaded it,aimed it fired it...... BAM! Love it. I love this mod. The BOMBSHELL is built very well feels nice vapes very nice. Tim- you are awesome my friend. Of all the vendors that I have ordered from,I honestly have to say that You are on top of it buddy. This is the fastest shipping ,least money , best juice I have experienced to this day. From Chicago to Dallas from Friday afternoon @4:00 pm it only took untill Mon.@12:00pm over the week-end even. The price for my BOMBSHELL and a Bridgeless atty and a bottle of juice was so cheap it hurts. This mod will be with me untill they pry it from my fingers. The RY4 has a killer flavor. I love this mod,I love this juice for the record...HOTVAPES....Just do it you wont be sorry. Tim-thanks and you have gained one more customer here thats for sure.
