household batteries

has anyone been successful at making a PV that runs off of AA or AAA or even C,D, or 9v regular disposable batteries?

i know there are rechargeable versions, but i think itd be sweet to be able to just pop a couple Energizers in a tube and jam.

To get enough voltage , probably , at least 3.7 to 4 volts , would take an arm load of regular batteries . And there are no accessories , that would stand up to 9 volts , and I can't imagine , even trying to vape at that high of voltage . I tried 7.4 , and it was very , very harsh . So no . Although , a cell phone , has about , the right voltage .
