Personally I don't care for the eGo T but I love their batteries. The 5 click shutoff is really nice. The tanks are what I don't like. Muted flavor, no TH, very little vapor, and leaking is what I experienced but everyone is different. If it works for you, great. If you get a kit, get a box of Boge cartomizers also and you'll see a big difference between the 2.

Some people don't like the tanks, and say they are messy, that they get lots of leaks.

I find them much less messy, and much easier to use and refill, than cartomizers. Tanks are my normal way of vaping.

eGo is one of the most popular brands for a starter system. They normally come with 650mah batteries, and I recommend making sure to get the 1000 mah batteries. Only a few bucks more, well worth it.

Whether you use the tanks or cartomizers is your choice, and you can switch back and forth - they all screw on the same way, to the same batteries. I've got tanks, and cartomizers, and the ego Mega atomizer/cartridge system, and can switch around if I want. Normally, I just use tanks.

If you were thinking about the ego-t than I would highly suggest that you get the type B model:

https://www.cignot.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=KIT-EBT-ALL

They hold 2ml of juice and perform great. Also, you might wanna check out this thread for info on the ego-t:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ego-type-models/139915-new-ego-tank-system.html

It's a bit long but has everything that you will need to know about the system. Not everyone loves the ego-t but it really is a great system if you know how to maintain it along with some tricks such as adjusting the pick and cleaning it.

The flavor you get from them are as good or better than what you get from a carto IMO. TH and vapor are good as well. You should also get some of the LR atties too.

Here are some videos that will help you in the future:

Someone told me ego-t has got a lot of vapor. Leakage problem serious?

I used the ego-t type b for awhile, it worked ok. Just seemed like it was in need of adjustment all the time, pull the wick up, push the wick down. Too much, now it leaks, not enough, still dry hits. Spent more time trying to get it working right then I did using it. Then id find just the right combonation, vape like a madman, that's when for no reason it would dump a full tank. Now I use EMDCC (ego mega duel coil cartos) much easier to live with. They hold more, vape great, and no fuss.

Duel coil cartos seems very popular. So ego is better than ego-t

No problem and yeah, Cignot only sells Joye products exclusively. Also, people that have bought their kits or what nots from them seem to not have the same problems as others that bought their stuff from different vendors.

It depends really. If your looking at the batteries than the ego-t has the 5 click shut off. Both are basically the same thing. You can use cartomizers and atomizers with both. Might be a good idea to get some of the mega dual coils with your order just in case.

Like I said, not everyone loves their ego-t (Although the ones that don't seem to be more vocal about it) but the best part about it. It's not proprietary which means you have options if you don't like the tank. Here's the link for the mega dual coils:

I only had a problem with leaking once since one of my original tanks has been used for a while. So, the hole at the bottom of the tank became a bit bigger and thus, leaking occurred.

Not everything lasts forever but I think 4 months of use was pretty good for a single tank. Anyways yes, I still have not read of a single person that had issues with their ego-t's that they bought from Cignot.

Ego is ego. The T stans for tank system. Once you have an ego battery you can use anything that is ego compatable, like the ego mega duel coil cartomizers, just being what these kind of cartos are called, but you can also use 510 carts atties ect on an ego battery

Oh, I forget that regular ego batteries don't have the 5click shut off, as my batts are ego-t. I had constant leakage issues with mine, yes I've watched the videos, and was constantly breaking it down and tearing it apart( to the point that I kept a pair of 3" hemos, and fine point tweezers in my pocket all the time) just to stop leaks, then readjust for dry hits. I finally just chalked it up to the way I was vaping on it, and let it go. I still use it for sampling new juice flavor creations, as its easy to just fill a tank and sample, but that's about it.

Oh and all my tank equipment came from cignot
But that's just my 2c

Do you like the function of 5 click shut off? So no leakage now? Then you did a good job.

I will say that the batteries are pretty awesome, I switch to ego-t 1000mah from kr-808s so battery life was amazing to me. I've been using these batts with the EMDCCs for awhile now, and its still pretty impressive. I believe the duel coils draw a lot more power, so that's doing good imo. Their performace is dropping, as I'm now cycling through 2 1/2-3 charges a day. But I just bought a roughstack so hopefully this won't be a problem any more
