To me, its really easy to wrap a coil like I see on youtube. However, its the wicking and juice ratio that is sometimes left out. How tight do they roll the cotton? How much vg is in the juice they use? Both of these questions, when answered, greatly contribute to a watchers success.

Tinkering itself is a product of patience. The ability to do small tasks, slightly differently, over and over, is huge. If someone loses motivation after trying something once or twice, they wont be tinkerers for long.

I agree....if there were workshops when I first started I would not have as many gray hairs as I do...lol

There are DIY coil building sessions I here around but not as a standard from vape shops I have bought from...my poor cats suffered as much as I did with Kanthal flying around and swear words right behind them...:D
