I started on 24 mg with a blu e-cig. I go back and forth between 3 and 6 in my Subvod, but I tend to go through about 5 or 6 ml in day doing that. My soon to be ex wife, who never smoked, started vaping with a Kanger esmart but she uses 0 nic. I tried it, and it just didn't cut it for me. But unless you're a pregnant or nursing mother, nicotine isn't really all that harmful. So the best suggestion I could give would be go with what's working for you, as long as you stay off the analogs.

I have my doubts that I'll ever vape 0 nic. I started about 2 years ago using 24 mg in a cigalike. I'm down to 4 mg now using a nautilus x. I mixed my own juice and have 5L of 20 mg 50VG/50PG. I cut it down to 4 mg in smaller batches using VG. If I ever get down to zero nic I just wouldn't vape anymore. However, it would be 100% VG and that is the best tasting vape in my view. No flavour, pure VG. I've tried a lot of flavours and have never tried one I liked better that no flavour at all! Maybe that's why I think I'd just quit vaping - I don't particularly like it - I just need the nic and will never smoke again.

I started at 28 mg, stayed at 24 for a few years then worked down to 0 over the course of 18 months. Cutting down was really easy to about 3, when I suddenly found myself wanting to go back to 6. I waited that out and went down to 2, then 1, then 0 - where I lasted about 5 days before going back to 3.

I know what you mean.

@Ryedan went 0mg some time back and now sometimes it takes him months to find the forum again.

Of the things I've lost over the years, I miss my mind the most

Started at 24mg almost 7 years ago and still at 24mg. Never had any thoughts on going lower but that's just me. I concur that vaping is 95 percent safer then cigs and feel if I went to 0 nic it would only be 95.9 percent safer. I just love TH too much, I tried 18mg once and it felt like nothing, so I went back. But like mentioned before, what ever suits one self is the best, as long as you don't go back to smoking

Went from 12mg to 24mg myself. What's the point in vaping if you're worried about the nic? Hell, exactly *what isn't* bad for you these days?

Besides, the "harm" is way overblown.
I agree... now maybe if someone a year ago kind of knew and planned for the FDA band thing and figured that obtaining 0 nic juice is going to be alot easier to get, then perhaps it's a great move. Or that they are just uncomfortable with nic and little to no nic just suits them better, but to just plan it for no reason and make it a priority just seems weird to me, especially someone who has been smoking for like 30 years, not ever giving it a second thought, now are worried about it. Like I said before, what ever works but I just think the notion of reducing nic shouldn't even enter a new vapors thoughts until said person can absolutely say 100 percent that they would never smoke again if they stopped vaping .

I used 12mg from the start, and continued using 12mg for 6.5 years.
Then one day I went straight to zero, and have been using zero for over a year now.

I did this not because I wanted to, but because I refuse to pay the insurance extortion fees.

It actually started as an experiment to see how long it would take for me to test clear.
But once I got there I just decided to keep on with it.

The lack of throat hit was a big problem, so I started using menthol in order to feel something.
But the menthol was causing me issues, so I switched to mints.

I am looking forward to going back to nicotine when I retire.
I'll probably buy some 18mg Five Pawns Black Flag Risen for the occasion.
:)
