How careful do I need to be with clearos to avoid leaks

Just got my rig today. I've got a Twist with a Vision Ego on it. I'm also considering a mini Vivi Nova. I was reading the descriptions over at Virgin Vapor and they said that the Vision is sealed at both ends and leak proof and the Vivi was 'virtually' leak proof.

How true is this? Am I pretty safe putting this in my handbag? Lying it on a table? Storing it on its side? I'm sure if I abused the heck out of it, I could get it to leak. I'm just curious how likely I am to have this happen by accident with normal usage.

my vivi has never leaked.
ive only had clearos leak if that odd small clear rubber ring comes out. youll see it if it does come out.
use the clearo for now, and switch to the vivi nova in a week or two when the clearo is done. clearos dont last forever, and only certain ones are buildable. i wouldnt even clean a clearo as it takes 24hrs to dry and its just not pleasent.

And your right, the vivi nova is the next step up from the clearo's .. Same taste and more vapor. Can be rebuilt/cleaned in 5mins also compared to 24-48hrs for the clearo

clearo's were great after a couple versions .. But now they cant compete with the vivi imo. There are buildable stardust clearos that take the same head as the vivi nova I THINK. Doubt you have this though. If so, the clear tank would screw off the bottom of the atty.

BTW my wife just switched from clearo's to vivi nova mini on the ego 1000mah battery. She said it gives more vapor then the clearo ever did. Glad she switched to the mini vivi now i dont have to keep buying clearos.

My clearos have never leaked either. Actually, I just got them and a twist yesterday and the vivi nova came in today.

Good to know! I think I will invest in some Vivis. The clearos aren't particularly expensive but I'd rather put fewer things in the landfill. How long do you typically get on a head with those?

I used the same 3 heads it came with for 2 months, then ordered 3 new ones. Clean the vivi every 3 tanks to keep it fresh and firing well.

prices on vivi heads vary from 2.00 - 4.99 .. if your using the ego twist i would only use the 1.8ohm and 2.4ohm heads as youll have to use too much voltage to use the 2.8ohm and drain the battery. I would guess your clearo is 2.4ohm.

also, theres also the mini vivi nova if you want a smaller better look for your ego. works the exact same as the vivi nova, just holds less juice and smaller. uses same heads also btw.

I've had it kick around my pocket, jacket pocket, car cupholder, work desk, floor, counters and various other locations. I've dropped my Twist with the Vision clearos on them several times and none of them have had a leak issue. But then again I've only been on the hardware for about a week now. (But then again... I've been vaping like a fiend...)

My neighbor does the same. Sits on his couch with his ego in hand all day .... Using 2-3 tanks on the vivi/day loool.

I'll say this my viva Nova has leaked and several times bad. Also I use the vision version 2 rebuildable clearos and they are very bad to leak. The seal proof isn't accurate not sure where u heard that. My thing is I care my setup in my ego xl case and sometimes it gets layed flat instead of straight up on my desk. But from what I've found no refillable setup is leak proof man. But in my opinion you Did get the best. The twist and vision tanks clouds in my living room. Three hits and my living room looks like a night club. Lmao.

The Kanger clearo's are somewhat durable, just don't let it roll off of a counter and land on a tile floor. My wife did that and it broke in three pieces. I've dropped mine a few times on carpet from my lap or knocked it off of the couch onto carpet, and no cracks or leaks. Also make sure you don't tighten the mouthpiece to tight, it will crack or strip the threads.
