How did you choose your Avatar?

I see such unique Avatars. Many make you wonder what made them choose that. Others make you wish you had thought of it first. And many make you wonder if that is really their pic or a borrowed one...

What made you choose yours?

Mine is where I spend my winters or at least a good portion of it. I wish I was there right now. Brrrrr it is cold outside...

My current one is in honor of vday, but I am pretty consistent that it always has a moon in it. I love all things celestial and the night.

Thanks, it is actually two pics. One of the island and the palms were added. I got a new one I am working on now taken during my last trip. Haven't made up my mind if I will change this one or not - I kind of like it myself.

Mine is a pic of King John as played by Paul Giamatti in the movie "Ironclad". I love this pic (and the character) because of his over-the-top look of pretentious disgust... it permeates his face & demeanor for the entirety of the film; the perfect portrayal of a comically self-absorbed monarch.

It is so interesting how a small pic represents a persons persona. Even the one ones that get changed each day can show a changing mood or a combined interest in being a broad spectrum of feelings and desires. Mine just makes me I wish I was there and not here next to the heater (LOL)...

Actually I had to change my avatar. ECF compresses avatars so much that it messes pictures with a lot of red in them so no TW devil anymore.
