How do I break in a new m401?

Hi. I just got a M 401 from E-cigarette.com.

I'mm getting very little vape from it. I know it has to be broken in. I've been puffing on the same atty for about an hour. When I drip some juice on it I get a little more vapor, but not that much.

Any advice on how to help or speed up the break-in period?

I noticed no one has answered your question. This was my first e-cig. I always drained the atty upside down on a napkin. That'll get rid of the primer and I also did the same thing every night to drain the old e-juice out.

After that you can drip, but it's risky w/ the unsealed M series batts. I like to 'dip' instead. In theory it does the same as dripping, but the atty will soak up what it needs. You just dip the tip of the exposed atty in the liquid and it'll soak up the juice.

A contact lens case is great for dipping.

Indeed dipping is the way to go here. It seems you were flooding it; its tricky to tell when you are not experienced for it is very odd.
