If you're talking about the "My Posts" link, no. That's a straight search for posts that you have made.

You can subscribe to a thread, which you can follow via the Quick Links drop down at the top of the forum. By subscribing to a thread, you can follow just those threads you wish to keep track of.

it is going to keep getting worse.

right now its hundreds of posts per hour.

Could it get to tens of thousands within a year? I guess not; because even if the demand is there the system might not be very usaable.

Trying to use "New Posts" just gets imposible.

I wish I could block certain threads or whole forums from showing up in New Posts.

Hmm. There is a modification that allows users to do that. I'll forward the suggestion to the server guys to see how feasible it would be to add it.

We have to walk a fine line between features and how it impacts a large site such as this, so no guarantees. :)

Edit -- Then again, maybe not. It appears the author never made it available for vB4. Sorry about that.

thanks; i am discovering that the "What's new" menu might actually have what I am wishing for;; some of those opetions under there seem to be blocking out alot of the stuff cluttering up the page.

Right now i'm using the first option to go through previous posts i posted on that other people might have responded to.

thanks

yes, ''today's posts'' block out social groups and more ;)

as to ''my posts'' if you are patient enough the threads you are no longer posting in will drop off your page sooner or later:D

OHHHH!!! I was wondering about that; I have been using the my posts, but as you just pointed out effectively, it has a problem where the threads I posted in are going to take some time to drop out of the list- i wish they'd drop down the list really.

I wonder how long it tkaes; hope its not a wekk; maybe its a day
