How do I delete messages?

I have friended a person on ECF and every post they make shows up in my profile every day. That's fine. But I don't want to save them, put them in a folder, or just mark them "read," I want to DELETE them after they're read. I've been looking for two days how to do this and I'm stuck. Can someone give me exact step-by-step directions please?

Which tab on your profile are you referring to?

The "Activity" tab by default will show you all your recent posts as well as your friends', though it has its own tabs for just yours, your friends, subscriptions and photos if you want to view just one category. I don't think you can delete posts from that activity feed (short of removing friends from your list and not posting, yourself).

If you mean the "Visitor Messages" tab, that one you can delete messages by ticking the checkboxes and scrolling to the bottom and choosing to delete them in the drop-down box on the "moderation tools" button

Killjoy is correct. The activity feed in your profile is just that, an activity feed. There's no way of deleting what shows there short of "unfriending" the individual.

Great answers folks! Great job helping other members. :)
