How do I get my atty in brand new working condition?

I have both a Joye 510-T and an eGo-T and I seem to go through atomizers pretty fast. I love that nice clean crackle of a brand new atty. The awesome taste, and the easy pulls. But after usually only a couple weeks all of that disappears. I regularly blow them out and use a cloth or something to wipe off all the threads but it never seems to get back to the way it was. It's not exactly convenient to order another right now because of the Canada post strike so what else can I do to be vaping happy again? Please help. I barely even get a throat hit anymore!
