How do i know if i need to change my atomizer?

I always know it's time when you draw and nothing happens, no flavor, no vapor, but the battery is working and there's juice. I have a manual ego so it's obvious that the battery is good and the button lighting up. I change the atomizer and it works again.

If it doesn't stop firing it's usually still good. When it's hard to draw, reduced vapor production, starts tasting funky, you should be able to clean it. I'm sure there are some threads around about cleaning attys.

Yep, plenty of threads on cleaning atties, also YouTube is your best friend for that kind if stuff. A lot of people sell atomizer cleaner, but from experience, boiling water and alcohol seem to do a good job. If the attie becomes to stiff out completely stops firing throw it away. I recommend trying one of the smaller rebuildable atties. With a little wick and wire you can have a great attie setup indefinitely.

YouTube is GREAT for learning all the goodies. Someone can TELL me how to do it till they're blue in the face, and I'll give them the 'deer in the headlights' look. But being able to search it out on YouTube is great. Watching makes it a lot easier..... for me at least.

Well, you will NEED to change your atomizer when it stops working.

But you might WANT to change your atomizer long before that, if it feels like it isn't performing as well as it was.
This is something you'll develop a feel for over time.

But prior to changing an atomizer, it is usually a better idea to try and clean it first.
You might find that improves things enough that you might not want to change the atomizer just yet.
