Hi, I am usig Boge lr 2.0 cartomizers with my eGo. I've read about cleaning by boiling them and letting them dry out for re-use. I have dedicated cartos for different flavors, so I am not wanting to clean them to change flavors. I filled them the first time using the push method and keep them topped of daily. Are there any signs I should be looking for that will let me know they need to be cleaned, or is it even neccessary? I have refilled one of them about 6 times, and it seems fine so far. Will cleaning them make last longer? Should I clean them every so many refills?

I'd appreciate any advice...

I use one carto at a time Boge 2.0 I top it off about 15 times a day (15-20 drops) I usually get 3-4 days out of it before vapor production and flavor drop off enough for me to want a new one. I also clean mine with an ultrasonic jewelery cleaner and can usually get another day or two out of them before production drops off again.

You must puff like a steam engine!!!

Clean them when they taste funky. Toss them when they quit working or you burn one.

Thanks for your answers. Well, my "go to" carto has probably has probaly gone thru about 8-10ml of juice so far. I know I didn't burn it because I keep it nice and wet. I noticed when i refilled it just now that there's a very, very slight bit of black up around the wire, barely noticable except with my optivisors, which I use when I refill. It seems to be working fine, but just to be on the safe side, I'm gonna try cleaning it and see what happens.

15 times a day at 15 drops each... 225 drops with 1ml rougly 20 drops. No way do you vape 10mls a day. If you do, thats nutso

I haven't tried to clean any yet. Some people have success with cleaning and drying and some do not. Most people find you cannot just "let them dry" or they never get fully dry and can get mildew etc. I mainly vape 2 cartos at a time. If I use a thin juice with no sediment I can get 2+ weeks good use out of a Boge carto . I am on the 3rd week with one I am using right now. When it stops working well I put it in a bag with other used cartos in case I ever fell like trying to clean them and I start a fresh carto. So far I have not felt like cleaning them. Some day I may clean and slow bake dry all of them then keep them as an emergency supply.

Not really.....some of the older crowd that has smoked probably longer than you have been alive, need to have a lot more nic.
And when you consider that you are only absorbing less than half of that amt....it is reasonable..

From what I've experienced, the cartos get harder to pull and will have a funky taste to them (even w/same juice all the time). I haven't tried cleaning them, it seems better just to buy extra for hygiene sake and toss them. There are a lot of vids on YouTube to check out for cleaning and repacking. You make the decision and go with what works.

I have give up on cleaning them. boiling water or running an oven, or a hair dryer or any other gas or electrical device probably takes more money to use than buying new cartos. especially when my success rate was no better than 20 or 30 percent on getting a couple of more days out of them. and when you figure in the amount of juice that gets wasted when you refill a cartridge that won't perform after cleaning I doubt that there are any real savings.

Like others have said, when it start under performing or tasting nasty its time for a clean. Its really a personal call.

I use a fairly simple cleaning method. At the store you can buy a syringe with a rubber piece that is supposed to be used to syringe medicne out of a bottle for kids or some such (I use a rubber pen grip from one of those gel pens myself). Its a 3ml syringe. I just fill a cup with hot tap water and fit the carto (threaded end facing out) into the end of the rubber part. This should create a good seal. Dip the end of the carto into the water and pull the plunger up. This should force water through the carto and into the syringe. I pump it a good couple dozen times and then replace the water. I do that cycle 3-4 times. When the cup of water looks clear and is odorless I will pump the syringe over the sink vigorously 50 times or so to try and force as much water out as I can. I then let it air dry for a day or two and its good to go.

Hope this helps and vape on!

All sound like good ideas. Perhaps I will throw them in a bag, and see if I feel lazy or ambitios when I have a bag full. I have been getting my Boge lr 2.0 cartos from vaporkings for 8.95. Anywhere cheaper.

I ordered some Boge lr510 1.5 cartos from Greenhouseone, 5 for $4.99. I hope I like them, couldn't resist the price. Ordered 6 pks. to stock up along with a couple 1000mah eGo battsfor only $13.99 ea. AND free shipping!
