So yeah, just like the title says. Every time I post a picture it's always small. Is there a way to make them bigger?
I'm not a super savvy computer guy so any help is appreciated.
Thanks

How are you posting pictures? If you're grabbing pictures using BB code than there will an option for the size.

Actually it depends on whether you browse your computer and upload it directly to the forum, or you post a URL, either from one of the image-sharing sites or your own URL -- the direct uploads will always be thumbnails that when clicked show a slightly larger image -- though it will never be as big as the one you uploaded. If you use a URL instead, then it will display in the real size -- but uncheck that box about letting the BB handle it.

So you mean sharing the link like from PhotoBucket or something like that?
I guess there's no way to make them bigger on direct uploads then?
Sorry I get kind of confused when it comes to URL, BB Code, HTML and all that stuff.

Right, a URL to the image will show the image in its true size; I try to keep mine 700px wide or less. Go ahead and click that same icon in the menu above, but when the little window opens, click where it says "URL" instead of "browse" -- then put in the full URL in the space it provides, and uncheck the box below it, where it says something about letting the BB handle it.

I'm mostly talking about pictures that I take myself of vape gear, juices etc. They always come out small when I post. I'm just uploading them from my computer with the insert image icon.
Sorry I'm not familiar with a BB code?

I use Photobucket to post pictures from my computer--it's much easier. Just upload your pictures to your album in PB, you can make them any size you want there. Under Share Links (to the right of your PB screen) click the url (IMG)--copy and paste here.

500-600 px is a good size for this forum.

Or you can choose (Direct url) and use the Insert Image icon (above the response box). Insert the direct url address in the url box, uncheck the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" box, click OK and you're done.

Just wanted to thank both of you for the help. I appreciate that. :) I'll try it the next time I'm posting some pictures.

Anyone know what height and width I should make them on PhotoBucket? I figured out how to resize them on there but I'm not sure what size to make them?

The image above is 648 x 395 px per my Paint Box...

Just to give you an idea. If you're not sure, practice a bit in the Sandbox.
