Most of us Blind Squonk - lightly push on the bottle while drawing on the Atty until you feel resistance/gurgle, then stop squeezing. Good to go.

I also like to take a quick dry draw (no power button) after squonking to spread the juice around the atty. I dry draw often to check if there's juice in the atty before firing the button, so I never get a nasty hit.

It my depend on the REO your using but I use 306s almost exclusively with the woody and the only time I do flood it is when i decide to drip and over do it. Still after 2-3 hits it all good blowing vapor like a frieght train. When i do squonk its almost impossible for me to flood. I really have to squeeze long and hard while sucking to flood it.

and I like to run mine on the wet side. All my atties are constantly running at flood stage with me. I find I get better flavor and vapor when I run them wet. And it seems they last longer....well, at least for me. But I'm sure its different for everyone. Most times I hear people complaining about the LR306 going through too much liquid, drying out too fast.

There is a bit of a learning curve, within a few hours or days you'll be a pro. I don't even think about it anymore.

With regards to the Noalox, you just dab a small amount on the tip of the firing pin, where it will touch the battery when the button's pressed. I use a toothpick to apply it, and press the button so the pin is visible.

Its rare that I ever flood the LR 306 on my Grand. When the vape doesn't feel quite right I just sqounk until I see some juice come out the holes or if its dark I do the blind squonk. On rare occasions that I do flood it, I will hit the firing pin and BLOW in the drip tip. I'll do this several times to get the excess out.

i gotta know, seems that no matter how i feed this thing, even when it seems like im just pumping in the smallest ammount of juice, i flood it. never seems to fail me. what's the trick

:) I tried to warn you ... I don't know how other people do it either.

IMO ......

A - the Cannon Drip tip I sent you works WAY BETTER THAN THE OTHER ONE (EM Long).
B - the Cisco 1.5 LR 510s I sent work WAY BETTER THAN THE 306 :)

Something about the 306 for me ... there is a super fine line between to dry and flooded.
It seems like I had to squonk harder to get any in, then when I did it was too much.
I think the hole in the connector end might be smaller on a 306 ???

If you put one of the 510s on you should be able to work it just like the Ali'i (I'm having no trouble with it :))

Good luck.

PS - 2Ω cartos work great too ... I was kinda bummed they didn't work on the Ali'i
It was the first thing I tried and the draw is WAY to tight with them.

I feel that way about the 801, love the vape but way too touchy. 306 I can deal with better, and it's really great on my eGo.

I find the Cisco 2.0 LR510 to be the easiest and best atty all around. Hits hard and works with every juice. Been using the same one for a month, still like new. I'll try the ones from IKV if he ever gets them in stock again lol

I try to tell new users that if you want one Atty to do it all Cisco 2.0 510 is the one to get.
Super versatile and tastes great. I've haven't lost a cisco Atty yet after many months.

The IKV are almost as good, but I have killed two of them.

Funny though I would rather have an 801 over 306 :)
I've only used the IKV MINI though.

Good call, once you throw one of those cisco 1.5s on her it will be like an old pair of shoes.
I had zero learning curve between 510s on the Grand vs the Ali'i. It was like I've been feeding an Ali'i my whole life.

I hope your as happy with the trade as I am. I've used the Ali'i quite a bit all ready.
Got to get my time in with it before my woodvil shows up tomorrow or Thurday.
That baby is going to be attached to me. I've been waiting for it since Rob announced new wood mods last October.

I am the same way:) However, after going to the LRs in general, I seems to use a lot more juice, although I may be vaping more..didnt think that was possible...lol

I have to agree with everything you said. Still...its my atty of choice and 2nd the 510LR 1.5. I know many like the 2.0 and it maybe better for flavor but I need more kick than it provides for me.
