How do I post a pic?

Wanting to add a pic to the thread that asks about pics of your set up...do I add it as an attachment? Started to but the pic looks so tiny when creating the post...does it get enlarged when the post is all done? I looked for instructions but I'm still a newbie making my way thru the forum!

Step 1 click this icon


Step 2 browse to the pic on your computer or on the internet and select the photo


Step 3 click upload


If you want then you can click the Go Advanced and then click Preview Post to see how it will look

Click on each of the thumbnails for a larger view.

If you have a site where you have photos stored, you can use the [IMG...etc.../IMG] tag in your post to link to them without having to add them as an attachment.

You can hit preview post to see what it will look like. I just had the same issue trying to post pics from my Flickr account. I ended up using photobucket instead of Flickr. What site are you using? If you use the load from your computer option, the pics will be very small.

The image you see in your post is only a thumbnail. Clicking on it will show a larger image, but not that much larger. If you use the ECF option to upload images locally they are restricted to a very small size.

The better option is to use an image hosting site like tinypic, imgur etc. and then post a link to your image. There is no size restriction to linked images since they aren't actually stored on ECF.
