The unthinkable just happened. My Provari toppled over on my desk, no big deal except that the Kanger Protank which was attached snaped off at the base. How do I remove the remaining part of the protank which is still left threaded onto the Provari? Any ideas would be most appreciated? Thanks Stu

I had this problem before and I tighten my protanks on fully. You just need to fiddle with it a bit possibly use tweezers or your finger while turning it to loosen it. Hope you get it off it's happened to me a few times and I've luckily been able to get it off.

Well after the panic of the thought of being without my Provari while it was sent for repair I composed myself and was able to remove the remaining part of the protank from the Provari. It was really quite a low tech procedure, I just used my pinky nail to hold it while I rotated the Provari. Back to vape heaven
I will order one of those Provari blocks so this does not happen again.

My Wife dropped two prostanks. Luckily we have tile floors. That just broke the glass. Never will I buy them again. She now drips, and loves it.
LOL I had the same problem the first time it happened uncle. I was shaking so bad and freaking out my boyfriend had to remove it from my hands. He got it out for me and all was good. It's really nervewracking when it happens. You just need to compose yourself and you'll be able to get it out considering I do tighten them fully so if I can get them out then they can come out lol.
I think I'm on my 4th? Protank already all due to breaks. I love them so much though I have 2 on standby for when the inevitable happens again. I hope someone comes out with a better but similar setup as far as the glass goes but I still love the Protanks overall design over the rest so I'm stickin with them.

I love the protank's too and have broken one on a fall to a tile floor, it just had a minor crack, so it's now a test tank.
Kanger has come out with a re-designed T3 (T3S) that uses a similar base and coil to the protank, but it's ego threaded so you'll need an adaptor. I expect it will get a similar vape to the protank but doesn't have a glass body.

The new t3s/mt3s has a slightly tighter draw and slightly warmer. Not bad though

My boyfriend uses the evod on his Provari and I do like the evods but I love how the Protank looks on the Provari. It just fits so perfectly. And it has perfect functionality. Only downfall is it's fragileness. Are the new t3s larger in diameter?
I wish Provape would make a delivery device for the Provari. With their attention to detail and high level of quality I think it would be a great seller. I love tmy Provari/ Protank set up but the set up is only as strong as it's weakest link which is the protank

Why do the big battery mod have a small 510 connector? The smaller ego batteries have the larger threads. It doesn't make sense that the bigger devices have the smaller connections. Explain Please
No they're the same body as the original T3's. You can replace an original T3 base with the new T3s base and put it on an old T3.
No they are the same as the old just use the replaceable heads instead of having the replace the whole bottom piece.
I've had to unscrew numerous toppers for the same reason. I use a pair of pliers and it's worked every time. Never any scent of a problem from the Provari's perspective. Takes a lickin'...
When you speak of the "larger threads", I assume you are talking about e eGo cone threading on the outside of the 510 connection on eGo batteries and other devices. Some big battery mods have them, and some do not.
The reason (I assume) that a device like the ProVari, and other high end VV and mech mods don't have ego threading probably has a couple reasons. First and foremost, there are only a handful of devices that utilize the eGo threading(mainly eVods/T3s) and most people don't use these types of attys on devices like the ProVari. The other reason, I suspect, is that on the ProVari specifically, not having eGo threading allows for a large, yet shallow drip well that is a lot easier to clean than a device with eGo threads and a very deep well (like the VAMO)
Also, adapters are cheap, easy enough to use, and work well. If you really want to put an eVod or MT3 on your ProVari, it'll cost you $3 for a 510-eGo adapter.
In the other thread I was in the "Provari should go with an ego thread" camp until it was pointed out to me that it would make the well wider and deeper to accommodate the ego threaded devices properly. One thing I love about the mini is its pocketability and don't want it to grow. So I dropped that as a wish list item.
As far as ease of cleaning, many of the ego/510 threaded mods have a removable well ring, so for example cleaning the well on an anyvape cvi is a snap. I'm not suggesting Provpae goes with a removable ring. I like the solid nature of what they currently have.
While my mini works well with an evod or T3 with an adaptor, there is a significant gap and some wobble. It vapes just fine with the adaptor, but aesthetically is not so great. Others have reported little or no gap. It may be due to different adaptors. The one I use is the one provided by Provape.
While some Provari users may snub their noses at ego threaded devices, they are in fact very popular. I'm not ashamed to say that I still love my evods and t3's. Maybe instead of considering changing the well to accommodate ego threaded devices, they should sell an adaptor that provides a better fit.
