How do I take a ego 650mha battery apart ?

It has died, smells burnt and won't work anymore so it will become something else
a passthru mabee ? or the connectors + mabee the tube will end up as part of a mod..
First though, how to take it apart without destroying it..
no hurting, bleeding or pain of any kind if possible..please
Its a black no-name model (not joy) w/ manual switch..
any ideas ??

I use a Dremel cutting disk and cut the tubing down the length of the battery maybe 1/4 down from the connector. Then pry it up with a sharp screwdriver. Got to be careful though there will be some sharp pieces. Thats how i do it anyways. Some people use heat for atomizers to soften the glue and pull the tube off. But even though the battery is dead i wouldnt use heat, the battery could blow up.

I used a pipe cutter 1/4" below the connector's shoulder and it is a breeze. It just happens that, that spot is a small void area at top of the battery where a piece of neoprene is found.

Oh ok. Didn't know about the dead space. In my mind a dremel sounded insane.
