How do measure ohms of an atty?

How do measure the ohms on an atty? I know you use a meter, but where do you touch the leads?

One to the center post and one to the threads , before you measure it touch the leads together and note the reading ( maybe .3-.5 ohms etc. , this will vary from meter to meter ) then subtract that number from the final reading and this will be an accurate measurement of the atty ohms.

It doesn't if you look close. There is a ring/gasket which separates the pos and neg that's visible when looking at the bottom.

Just use the center hole for your positive lead and don't push to hard you just need to make steady contact then touch the negative lead to the thread and your done. The reading may wonder a few seconds but if you've got a steady hand and not moving the leads it'll settle down.
