John,
You have several options.

Easiest...just get a fresh CE2.

The next easiest for me is to just get a really high PH all PG cinnamon e-liquid (Atomic Cinnamon from Tasty Vapor with NO sweetners added is what I have), keep the coils wet with it for a few days, do some burns without inhaling before refilling the carto, then just keep using the carto. If it has ash on it still, I just leave it on there, but if you like you can attempt scraping some off gently with a wooden toothpick. Rinse out the carto with distilled water or PGA, then fill it with whatever flavor from there. It may take vaping through a fill to get all of the cinnamon flavor out, but it works for me.

Next:
You can pull out the seals and flush it really good with distilled water, everclear, or vodka.
If you like you can gently pull the wicks out, burn them off with a torch and push them back in.
I've also dropped them in the ultrasonic glasses cleaner before, it works OK, but it can also cause the wicks to fray a bit if overdone.

It is possible to get the sleeve off with the right tools.

If you have a dead battery laying around, screw the CE2 on that. You can also use a working battery, but be aware that this method can put stress on it, and possibly break the battery or mangle the threads.

Hold the battery firmly in your fist and push the carto with your thumb. Use a firm push, but not too firm.
Rotate the battery some and repeat, repeat, repeat.
It can take a while to loosen it up, but eventually it should wiggle off.
Touching the base of the carto with the flame of a butane torch can speed up the process a bit.
I've yet to see any with 'solder' in them...it's just 'crimped on' there, the heat just softens up the metal a little.

When you're ready to put it back together, run a bead of super glue around the base, or wrap it in teflon plumbers tape (trim the excess tape after it's back together).

Thanks.

I think I'm gonna try to get the tubes off. replacing them with a fresh one is too costly for me as i can easily make these last at least a month each if i can clean them right. At least that's my experience with clear body CE2's.

I do have one that has a dead coil ( i fried it with a dry burn) so i'll practice on that one. I don't drink anymore and if I had hard alcohol in the house the wife would drink it. LOL.. she doesn't get drunk cus she makes one glass last 3 hours

I wonder if coke will work instead of cinnamon. I have heard people using it with good results. I just dont like the idea of boiling them cus i'm afraid the heat will cause damage.

I like strong tasting juices.. haven't tried cinnamon. yet.. I'll have to do that.

I take them apart a couple times a week because I'm using a few flavors everyday..1st take the tip and o-ring out no need to pull the "cup" that goes over the ceramic..like was posted just attach to a eGo and wiggle it back and forth with a little force (doesn't take that much though). When it starts coming loose be careful because sometimes the ceramic gets stuck in the cup and the wires can pull out.

Usually if you wiggle it a bit it will come loose if it doesn't I use the plunger (with the rubber tip removed) out of a 3ml syringe to push out the cup as pulling out the bottom. I do this over a sink and rinse off any e-liquid..be careful with your battery here because getting them wet can kill them..it's best to remove from the battery before rinsing. Also when you put the CE2 on the battery don't tighten it too much or it will be hard to remove it from the battery with the tube off.

When I reassemble it I put the cup on the ceramic and lube it with some PG or the flavor e-liquid (just a drop around the rubber cup) I'm going to use in it then slide the tube on. You can press the tube back on by hand om a battery (if done by hand make sure it's seated good or it can leak) but I use a vise to do so (without a battery)..just be careful if using a vise not to crush or crack the tube..also when using a vise it presses the center contact pin in a bit but I take the syringe plunger and push on the rubber cup a bit to get the pin back out. I can take apart clean and reassemble these in a few mins after some practice. I also have a couple CE2's that I've been using since last August..good luck :)

I pull out from top everything including the cup that goes over the ceramic, then pull out (gently!) wicks with slim crocheting hook.
Now you can start cleaning whatever method you like. I usually rince whole carto repeatedly with water, then with vodka, if in hurry dry with papertowel, when not just let it sit. Then dry burn, insert the wicks back with fine tweezers and thats it. I never pull out anything from tube then just wicks and end/top caps, I do the same cleaning process with my Vision cartos also. No glue and no leaking.
