Do you remove the tube? I tried yanking it a little bit and it doesn't come off so I stopped. Can it be removed? What about the cap?

They can both be removed if needed. The cap should just slide off the end of the feeder tube. the tube is a bit more complicated as there is a dab of glue in there holding it in place, but it can be removed. :)

*edit........for normal maintenance, removing the cap and tube is not necessary.

I vodka flush mine both directions. First fill the catch cup and blow down and out the tube, then fill a 6 ml bottle with vodka and squonk it up through. Then I hit the juice well and firing pin good with a vodka soaked Q-tip® :)

Re-assemble and vape away.

In Mother Russia wasting Vodka considered a Crime xD :D

Cool. Thanks. I probably won't need to remove the tube and cap if i flush it regularly.

Right. There are some flavors that linger...like the cinnamon, watermelon, and some mint flavors...you'll want to wash the cap and the o-ring to help with that when that occurs. But for most things, hot water will do the trick. No need to worry about damaging the REO, just run it under the tap and flush it out with hot water. (without the battery, of course) I only do this every couple of months or when my mod starts to "feel dirty."

So I assume it's safe to fully submerge and let it sit for a few minutes. Right?

Never done that. I'll find out. :) Be right back.

*edit.............testing. Large bowl, hot water at least 3" deep, submerged it for 15 mintues. Currently is drying. Will reply when reassembled and vaping. :)

Okay, test complete. It vapes fine. No damage that I can see. So I suppose you could submerge it in water if you felt you needed to. I wouldn't add any detergents or anything though. But be sure that it is dry before vaping again. Compressed air is good for that. I still prefer running hot water through it...but that is just me. Let me know if you have any questions. :)

Cool deal. Thanks. Reason I ask is that I notice while my grand is in my pocket, juice occasionally gets into the area of the button and goes on in to the conductor plate mechanism. That doesn't sit well with me and I'm not sure if simply running hot water through it would work.

I see. You can also run some alcohol down the button area too. That won't hurt it either. :) Just be aware when you do that, your switch will swivel much easier for a while.
