Different 510 cartos can use different methods. If you use Joye 510 cartos they recommend using a needle but that is not neccesary. I drip drops into the battery end hole one drop at a time, but it doesn't take long at all to fill or refill. I was amazed at how easy and mess free it was to do it this way. I've not tried the BOGE 510's with the soft caps yet but have read that you can remove the outer and inner caps and drip onto the filler from the top (mouth piece end) pretty easily. Lots of different methods out there so experimenting with which type of 510 carto and method of filling works best for you and hubby will let you find out which you prefer.

I think I'll just try regular 510 Joye cartos. Dripping from the battery end sounds the simplest. Can you tell me roughly how many drops and about how long the carto lasts.

I only use the cartos for when I'm driving (which for me does tend to be chain vaping) and when I'm out and about(which for me tends to be minimal vaping) and refilling my carts isn't convenient so I'm not a good judge of how long a carto would last if cartos was all someone was using. Mine last very well for about 20 refills. When filling a new carto I fill it at night with about 25 drops and let it sit over night. Before leaving the house the next morning I usually add another 5-6 drops. When I see the drops are slower to soak in I know its time to stop adding. I've found it works better when I've given it the chance to sit for a while after filling verses trying to use it right away after filling for a new one or for refills. I tend to refill sooner than I might actualy have to but Id rather fill more often with a smaller amount of drops then waiting too long and letting it dry out and having problems. My refills are usually between 10 and 20 drops.

Using cartos are a bit of trial and error and as in regular atties you will find some duds sometimes and others that work extremely well. I find my cartos a bit airy but I'm ok with that as a trade off for safer driving and convenience when refilling carts often is a problem. Good Luck.

I'd like to try them. What would be the best place to buy them?

I know that Liberty Flights carries the Joye 510 cartos for 7.99 with 2.99 shipping. Cignot also carries them at $8.00 but with 5.00 shipping. FSUSA also carries them 7.20 (using discount code Freedomsmokeusa) with $5 shipping. Other may also but I'm not aware of them off the top of my head. Mine have come so far from Liberty Flights and FSUSA. Good Luck!
