How do you handle tracking issues?

So yesterday the mailman came with a lovely fat package for me... My hades clone... Only problem is i cant track the <beeping!> batteries... The tracking number doesnt work on any tracking service... How do you guys handle it when theres tracking issues of an item you really want?... Im about to sit in a corner, start rocking and mumbeling strange words...

Just try to forget about it so that once it shows up its like a surprise bday gift! Lol. I've got the same issue, I NEED to know where my stuff is at all times. Usually it slips my mind for awhile if it's been long enough.

Well its hard to forget it... That beautiful hades is sitting on a table just staring at me... Cant use it till i get those batteries :S
