I've heard to take the lid off and just let is sit open, I've heard that some breathe the bottle by squeezing it, and one guy said to put it in the microwave. What is everyone preferred methods? How long do you have to steep for? Some of my high quality e juices I just bought are completely tasteless and I'm trying to figure out what to do. Thanks for the help!

If you're going to steep a juice the best method is to store it in a cool dark place. I have a shelf in my pantry for this specific reason. If your juice has too much alcohol for your liking then you would take the lid off and let some of the alcohol evaporate. That's what we call "airing". Your high quality juices shouldn't need steeping. They should have already been mixed and sitting on a shelf before being mailed to you. If you're ordering from sites, say like Mt Baker Vapors, who mix it when you order then you would want your juices to steep for about a week or two. If you're juices are becoming tasteless you could have Vapor's tongue and might need to vape a strong flavor like cinnamon or menthol.

I stick mine in a kitchen cabinet and let them sit. My juice reserve is at the point now where most are sitting for 2-3 weeks before they see the light of day. I'll shake up the bottles once every few days if I remember to. As previously noted, some juices (Five Pawns for example) are "pre-steeped" and good to go immediately.

I had no idea how to do it so I thought put it in a cool, dark place and what do ya know that is good. I ordered a few that I let steep and it was so much better.

The juice I get from Zeus's juice usually is good to go for me. Though I could see myself steeping some favorites.

Also for me the taste got better when I purchased an APV idk but it works for me. I do believe in steeping some of the cheap ones I've purchased. Good companies I agree are usually good to go.

Some extracts are processed using alcohol. In those cases you should remove cap and dripper for a day to allow the alcohol to evaporate (ask your vendor if they used alcohol in their extracts). Beyond that, shake, shake shake. Some like unsteeped juice, some like it after a week, two weeks, a month, two months, etc.. It's like the flavor itself...it's subjective. But the flavor will generally deepen the more you age it. And just because a juice was sitting on a shelf before it was shipped to you does not mean it is higher quality. That's total bunk.
