I am interested in getting some cartos. The wife and I like to switch out flavors a lot so it is impractical for us to have a cartomizer for EVERY flavor we want to vape. I assume that I will have to stock up on the carts and clean out the 'tank' part whenever I want to switch flavors on some but how do YOU store your carts that you are not using. Right now I am using a stick with just cartridges and when we switch out, I place the condoms back on and put it in a 2x3 baggy. (I have LOTS of baggies).

I notice that the carts that come with cartomizers are metal. How long do they typically last? Is there anyway to clean them as they have the batten inside?

I use the disposable ones so I don't store them at all really.. They die and I throw them away. Unless it's a really off flavor I just use the same cartomizer. My favorite flavor is spearmint so it usually mixes well with any other flavors I might want to try. And like the above poster stated.. Usually the 'old' flavor goes away after a few drags.

I store them (w/condoms on) in Altoids Smalls tins. You can fit 3. Pretty handy!
OK I am glad this is the forum for Noobs, and hope this doesn't sound too stupid but what is the "condom"? I mean my cartos came in sort of like a covering, I thought it was a throwaway. At the moment I just have a different flavor in the 4 cartos I now have, but if I decide to stick with one flavor and just use one, you mean I need to store them properly? Oh dear, tell me more. thanx

If i switch flavours - i use the same carto, most of my juices mix fairly well anyway. Sometimes i get a funky taste for about half a dozen draws then the new flavour comes through. I imagine it would not work with very strong or menthol juices.

The baggies idea is fine.

I primarily use the T3s tanks. They clean so well with a rinse in alcohol and then hot water to take away the alcohol residue. I like to switch juices a lot so I have several tanks and I put a bit of what I want to vape that day into several tanks and carry them (along with my evic) in a "double-wide" case. When I want to change flavors, I do a quick rinse (coil and tank) and then refill with another flavor.

FYI - I have been able to clean the strongest flavors, including menthol, licorice and even clove out of those tanks. If you haven't tried them, I highly recommend. And they are cheap enough that you can have several on hand. Coil replacement is cheap and easy as well.

Just my two cents :D

Condoms are the rubber 'cups' that come (usually) on each end of the cartridge.
Ah-ha! Thanks Cliven, I did get those on my new Kanger pro tank I just got today but I also got a diff battery for that one and it's charging so I can't use it yet. Hmmm, the other cartos i got only came in a wrapper, like clear but not like a the plastic on a baggy. I did save those they looked cool.
