This seems like a pretty simple question, but it baffles me for some reason. How do I switch flavors in my clearomizer without wasting any juice? I know I could just put the new flavor on top, but I've found sometimes they mix and usually the result isn't very good. Then I'm stuck for some time with some weird concoction. I've just dumped the last bit a few times, but I hate doing that.. it feels like a waste. Just curious.. thx

Hi zip and welcome to ECF. I am with rondasherrill and believe having multiple clearos is the way to go. Everyone is different, but I have 6 clearos set up and have different flavors in each of them. 3 are menthol based and 3 are either fruit or dessert flavors. I keep them separate for coil and clearo cleaning, but I do group the 3 clearos and coils together that I use for the different menthol flavors. At night, I rotate between them. That way I can vape one flavor for a while and easily change to something different when I want to.

I wish you well on your vape journey and hope you keep the vape.

Namaste.

I only have one, an iclear 30. I vape until theres no extra juice, like if I tipped it on its side, no juice would be there. Then, I wash it out with very hot water. I had an issue with a menthol juice affecting the flavor of my blueberry-vanilla a lot, even tho there was basically none left, and washing it out solved it completely. Just keep vaping until you run out, and wash it.

I have numerous clearos but occasionally I want to try a new juice and all my clearos contain some juice, so I just empty one back into its bottle and thoroughly wash the tank and coil. Very little waste, mostly what was in the coil.
I will however keep that coil only for the previous juice and use a new coil for the new juice. So far with this method, I get no taste from the previous juice and minimal wasted juice during the transition.

I run it almost dry then just put the next flavor in. Usually works as long as the first one wasn't really strong like cinnamon or something. If the juice was really strong, or tastes way different (like switching from watermelon to tobacco) then I'll change the wick and wipe the tank out with a paper towel.

I just moved from a C5 to some sort of similar tank with a replaceable coil. But...
I keep multiples now just because it's easier, but prior to that I would simply pour the juice back into its bottle and then wash the clearo before putting a new flavor in. I tried mixing but that doesn't always work. Some combos are bad, and some flavors seem to never go away. I tried a guarana flavored vape and even after washing the clearo I couldn't get rid of the taste...
I would say, multiples is the way to go ultimately. If you are going to be a long term vaper, then you will be buying new clearos every few weeks anyway. May as well keep a couple on hand with different flavors. I find that I change flavors more often now, and that has enhanced my vape experience. I don't have to feel like I need an all-day vape since I have readily available options.
