Face down in the gutter, USA
It ramps up at full power set, once the resistance reaches approximately where a given temperature is set at, it begin to Pulse Width Modulate voltage to maintain temperature, check pbusardo's on youtube videos on the DNA40 and SX Mini M to see how the power signals drop and pulse once temp throttle kicks in.

DNA's (and all Evolv chips) do not use PWN, its a flat DC-DC signal, though i can see how what the chip does could be viewed as a form of pulse width modulation.

Yihi's chips do use a form of PWN for the temp control but its still different than the PWN that we were used to back in the "rattlesnake" 33hz chip days.
