Hello everyone
2 weeks ago i build my vv box mod with Lm2596 , everything good but i noticed that there is amp limit on the lm board which is 3amps > SO I decided to build anther one which have more amps so i ordered this chip
Feature:
Module Properties: non-isolated step-down module (BUCK)
Rectification: Synchronous rectification
Input voltage: DC 4.5-14V
The lowest dropout: 1V
Output voltage: DC 0.8-9.5V (continuously adjustable)
Output current: Max 6A
Conversion efficiency: up to 97% (the higher the output voltage, the higher the efficiency)
Soft-start time: 3.5mS
Output ripple: 50mV (TYP) 20M bandwidth
Working temperature: industrial grade (-40 ° c to + 85 ° c) (ambient temperatures exceeding 40 degrees, please lower power usage, or strengthening the heat sink)
Full load temperature rise: 40 ° c
Load regulation: ± 0.5%
Voltage regulation: ± 2.5%
Dynamic response speed: 5% 200uS
Short circuit protection: automatically turn off
Input reverse polarity protection: None
Dimensions: 30 x 18 x 14 mm (L x W x H)
Connection mode: welding, DIP-24 standard package
Testing Reference:
Input 5V output 3.3V 6A ripple 15mV
Input 12V output 3.3V 6A ripple 30mV
Input 12V output 5V 6A ripple 45mV
Some Application:
DIY a car step down voltage Power Supply
High-power low-voltage chip power supply.
DIY ultra-fast charger:input 1.2V/2.4V/4.2V/8.4V can output 6A
Power for electronic device
so my question is : is this good chip
and it's look different, i mean not like the Lm board
