how does this charger work?

When i plug in the ag126 battery charger the led light turns green. When I put in the battery in channel one with positive facing up the light is still green, and i am sure the battery is almost dead. When I use the second channel i place the battery in and the green led light turns red. Do I have a defective charger? And when will I know when it's done charging? I ordered it from madvapes BTW

Hi and Welcome to ECF

I believe this charger goes:

Solid Red = charging
Flashing Red = Getting closer to charged
Flashing Red/Green = nearly charged
Green = charged (will still flash red but less often)

You may need to spin the battery a bit to get the LED to turn red. That works with mine anyway.
