That battery is a rebranded 20A battery (Efest tends to over rate their batteries)

Yup, that is really a 20 amp continuous discharge rated battery. It's a re-wrapped LG18650HE2. Efest deceptively advertises the rating as 35 amps. Consumers mistakenly believe that rating is the continuous rating that other manufacturers use. Pulse ratings are hocus pocus as there is no industry standard for them.

This is a rebranded LG 18650HE2 cell. Careful: max continuous discharge rate for this cell is 20A *NOT* 35A as advertised by Efest.

Its much like RMS wattage and other marketing schemes. That's why Sony batteries are my go to. As someone stated before I'm at 15 A at full voltage, that being said I feel safe using these in a pinch.
