I think my one and only atomizer is going out, hard to draw and need to really work at it - but it can get really hot. How hot should an atomizer get? I have done the cleaning thing, but still having problems. Just trying to make it last until my new order of the True 510 gets her with extra atomizers, learned that fast!! Thanks for any info on how hot the atomizer should get, it is the Gamucci 801 Penstyle I am using right now that has the hot atomizer.

If the atomizer is getting hot, that indicates it is still working. Super hot (a subjective thing) is not normal. If you are only using Gamucci batteries, no USB pass-through, no manual switch or other power source, the atomizer should not get super hot. The device batteries have an automatic cut-off time built in to limit the length you can draw on it so as to protect the atomizer from overheating.

If your batteries have the new style switch that can be affected by impact or loud sounds, then the battery may be firing on its own causing the atomizer to heat up. I do not know if your device has this type of battery.

In the end, though, atomizers don't last very long, tend to clog up over time leading to a more difficult draw, and then just die. Make sure you have several (how many is always debateable, but at least three or four would be good) atomizers for backup at all times. Most forum suppliers/sponsors have 801/pen-style atomizer that should work fine with your device at a more reasonable cost than from Gamucci.

Thanks for your info - I have on order and hope to get this week the TRUE 510 KIT from True Smoker website. The website is not out of most stuff and I wanted to order extra atomizers for the True 510 - cannot seem to find them or they may be under a different name on other websites - do you know of a site that has the True 510 extra atomizers in stock that I can buy to have on hand - this device has kept me off cigarettes for a week, don't even want a real cigarette, but if the atomizers breaks before I get my order I am sure I will be smoking analogs again. Thanks again for your info, appreciate it.
