Hi I'm new to vaping and need some help. I have a mod box from madvapes which I have to keep on adding drops every few minutes. That's not working for me anymore because it is very frustrating to me. I see that there are juice fed box mods and they seem nice. One is old goats vv box mod of which I would like to know: A)How do I go about buying it if I wanna buy it... B)does that have a button that I need to press while I drag as in the one from madvapes... The other one that I've seen that seems to be nice is what I've seen being called "my big box". Is that also a vv or not and how do I go about buying that one if I decide on that one? I'm not sure what a drip well is but I have another question regarding a juice feeder.... If I have a bottle installed in the box mod can I put in drops of a different flavor in what looks like a white plastic well drip for those few vaping moments and it will continue taking from the container once those few drops are finished....?
If you can please help clear some of the "fog" I would really appreciate it a lot!!!

I agree with TJ.....I think that "juice feeders" are over-rated and the tank mods are a far better option. But to my knowledge, the tanks can only be used with certain types of cartomizers.

As far as buying a MOD, well, that's a dinosaur egg that you're cracking open there my friend!!

How much are you willing to spend? There are hundreds of MODs out there to choose from....

You could put a J-Tank on it. Or a Liquinator. As far as I know, you can use the ego tank system (type A, or type B.) It may need some kind of an adapter to use the ego tank stuff, or it may not.

A lot of questions and really not thoroughly answered.

As far as I know all box mods and really almost all mods, box or not, have manual buttons that you have to push when you vape.

Bottom feeders do not auto feed. You squeeze the bottle to get juice to go up into the atomizer. It's really a more convenient way to drip. If you want a few drops of some other juice, you drip it into the top and don't squeeze the bottle in the device.

If you've used that madvapes mod for any length of time, you've had the experience of getting too much juice in there and having it leak out the bottom of the atomizer. It makes a mess. A catch cup catches that juice and if you're lucky, it'll get sucked back in.

The madvapes DOD is interesting but, it doesn't auto feed enough for me. I use it pretty much like I'd use a bottom feeder but, I squeeze the bottle on top now and then to get it to feed. For the money, it's not bad at all. Just don't expect it to take care of everything for you. For me, it's been more of a no aim dripping device.

No experience with the tanks that are being recommended. All I can say is that over the last few months there have been a lot of variations of those and they get mixed reviews. You also see a lot of people that rave when they get them only to complain later. Do what you want on those. I'm waiting for a while.

As Mickey just pointed out below, the mixed reviews on the tank mods, primarily consist of leak complaints.

BreakTru just recently solved those problems with a version that ANYONE can make themselves for just a few bucks and a little patience:

Dual Coil eJuice Tank Mod

You can make them as large or as small as your heart desires and they will NEVER leak!

Everything you'll need is in the thread.

Hi! Thanks for the posts!! I feel a little awkward asking this but... what's a "tank" mod? And how do I PM ron from old goat mods? Thanks again!!

Tank mod is a wider cylinder that an atty or carto to put into...click some of the links above to see photo. Personally I've had no luck with them at all...but then I also dont mind dripping.

As to the PMing..first off we gotta get you to a full member status. You need at least 5 posts to PM(private message) anyone. Then you can click on their name, and click the pm button.

What's a dual coil cartomizer? And what will it do to box mod?

Dual coil cartos have two heating elements instead of just one. They provide warmer vapor but do not hold up as long as regular cartos. Most of us have some of both.

And they will work fine on a box mod (I use them with my 5 volt box mod all the time) BUT, you will need to make sure you are using "high drain" batteries or else the dual coils will trip the protection circuit in regular Li-on batteries. Well supported suppliers on ECF, such as Ken's Box Mods, provide "high drain" batteries as an option:

ARRY Tank e-cig mod reviews

This is what a tank using a ce2 is. It has wicks that bring the juice to the top of the ce2, where a atomizer vaporizes it for you.

5ml Liquinator

This is a tank using cartomizers is. It has a small hole in it that allows the liquid to slowly drain into the cartomizer, keeping it wet at all times. Means less refilling.

Old Goat Box Mods e-cig mod reviews

This is the old goat. It is a box mod that runs off of 1 3.7v battery, and has a bottle that holds 3ml of juice. You can manually pump the bottle (there is a slot in the box so you dont have to open it to do so) and this will feed to either your atomizer, or cartomizer.

Drip On Demand Kit

This is the drip on demand. It is similer to a bottom feeder, but you place it on top of your atomizer or cartomizer to keep it nice and wet. Like it has been said, this doesn't really auto feed all that great, but it is very easy to use it as a aimless dripper.

Hopefully this clears some of the feed options up. I think that any of these options will help with your frustration of always topping off. I would personally recommend the drip on demand, as it is cheap and easy to use. If you like it, at that point I would suggest you look at some bottom feeders, because it works very nearly the same at the Drip on Demand, but looks a little nicer. If your thinking about a tank, Clouds of Vapor has the MAP tank for the ce2's, and the DCT (I think) for catomizers. There is also the torpedo tanks here on the suppliers forum, they cost a little more but are higher quality. Let us know what your thinking, we are here to help.
