Ok I'm confused... Can you describe what you did or make a vid? Or take some more pics of your steps and put them in order?

Hi Njt07,

I will attempt to explain how to do it.

1. Remove the stardust from the original suppository like tube enclosure. I used a screwdriver and a hammer banged from the inside out.

2. Replaced the wick and coil with fresh SS wick (my fav) and coiled a 32 Kanthal at 1.9 Ohms

3. Make a tank I used a 12ml syringe tube, but you can use whatever size you like.

4. Flood control and driptip holder tube from an old spent carto and a silicon carto stopper.

5. O-ring from an old ce2 slide on tube between wick and connector to ensure leak free use.

6. Mount in tank and fit slide tube over stem of the stardust make it long so you can adjust wick control easy (by sliding it up and down)

7. Use (not required) a 510 to ego adapter and screw your mod...on

8. Fill some juice and enjoy!

This makes it very easy to work on and fill and the flavor is fantastic!!!

Enjoy your improved Stardust!!!!!

Well I've killed 2 stardusts already errrrrrrrrrr. I tried SS wick but was grounding out. I will try a smaller diameter soon. I might also try and widen the slots a bit

sabre66, Killed 2 that's frustrating but keep your chin up! I make the wick very small and I oxidize it well also burn the coil and wick, not with a torch but with a lighter, when the coil is in place on the wick. I found that the SS wick works, wicking so well, even on 5V, that I needed to shorten it to about the size of the OEM. Let me know how widening the slots work I've been thinking about that too. Make sure the coil leads are the right length. Please let me know how it goes.

Still a little unclear on how you made the tank but this looks cool! I really want to try SS wicks (am even on the Zenesis tank list). I've heard of others using SS on the Stardust, one who dremeled the slots wider and one who used a small piece which a silica wick was threaded through. Meh, maybe I'll just try a finely rolled SS on a normal slotted one. (I don't have a dremel!)

RR, I made the tank buy cutting a 12ml syringe and punching the rubbers for the connectors and I used an old carto (cut) tube to hold the driptip and direct the vape. No need to dremel just roll small and cut the wick well. Enjoyed your vids! Please let me know how you like it with SS. I just love the pure taste.:vapor:

OK widened the slots a bit and rolled up SS wick wound a new 32 gauge kanthal coil @ 2.6 ohms ..... 1 stardust brought back from the dead vaping great at 5 volts.

Oh I forgot I left the wicks a little longer about they touch at about the 1ml mark

Keeping up at 5V! Awesome and so glad you got it going. How much did you dremel the slots? Please post pics if possible.
