For example, the provari is probably one of the best mods, a little bit bulky for my taste. But what i really don't like is the price tag, but if i lose that thing... oh well.

Ahh, but a ProVari will last and last and last, while the chinese battery holders will die and need to be replaced. The Provape is having a sale on their chromes, $40 off. They discontinued them because of some problems with etching their logo.

You will recoup the cost. And so, that is what I bit the bullet and just bought.

My dream PV would simply be an app on an iPhone.

oh damn, then I'd have to get an iPhone

Seriously, that would be the best idea in PV history. You'd need a hell of a battery on it, but how amazing would it be if you could slap an atty on the dock connector of the iPhone with a small adapter. Sure people would think you're insane, but they probably think we all are anyway with our provaris, egos and SBs so who cares?

Or,... take a jabra or plantronics Bluetooth headset with a powerful enough battery where the end of the microphone piece around your cheek could also be something you could vape on. How convenient would that be? Battery life would be miserable, you'd have that same battery on your ear and you'd probably look like an idiot (would also make for really awkward phone conversations - "dude, are you talking to me or vaping me right now? I'm getting off the phone..this is weird.), but wouldn't you buy it just cause?

Just sayin'... :)

I want the voltage adjustment like a twist on something the size of a BB that takes IMR batteries and won't fire if it's shorted.

I'll probably end up buying either a silver bullet or a P+18490 and using a kick with smaller batteries in either, but I adjust my twist all the time and feel like it would be more annoying to be stuck at one power.

I found protected CR2s and–if they fit–considered running them in a BB with the 3.2Ohm vivi nova head, but again…that seems a bit limiting compared to the twist……plus, it's right at the top of where I use it and might end up just tasting burned.

The right size (18490/14500 size seems perfect) combined with the Twist's adjustment and good regulation would just be amazing. No need for displays or features……I don't care where I am except to know what to buy, and it seems I can get close enough to that with labels so far.

Hm. This place really makes me feel like a weirdo sometimes. My ideal vaping device would be the exact opposite of the hi-tech extravaganzas that everybody else seems to favor.

It would be made entirely of brass, and be kind of antiquated in feeling, like an old nautical instrument. If it had any sort of decoration or inlay, it would be horn or silver or some such thing; no plastic, no aluminum, no bright colors. No bling or LEDs or things that light up. No buttons - auto only.

It would be expensive, and require maintenance, but would last forever. It would be small, but moderately heavy, and the surface would have a warm, buttery feeling to it.

:)

Kinda like this:

Like this, but auto instead of having a button?: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/129955-my-new-brass-copper-mod.html

You should just check out all of asdaq's threads in the modders forum. The man is a god with brass.

^^ LOL, yes, I suppose it probably would look pretty steam punk to most people. Actually, though, I just like old stuff - I mean genuinely old stuff - and don't like things that look at all new. (I think I'm the last person on earth to somehow survive without either a television or a cell phone.)

I can certainly see how a cyberpunk sort of person would like the whole super hi-tech PV aesthetic, though. That makes perfect sense.

Edited to add:
Oh, my! That's beautiful, Jburns! Did you make it? It's really lovely.

Edited again, this time to add:
That man is a genius! Thank you! I'll be sure to pay more attention to that forum from now on.

Edited for the very last time to add:
I see that you did make it. Yowzer.

Provari V2 blem saved $40. It is my favorite mod, it just Vape, flavor but it will reveal flaws for me plastic bothered me, had to switch to SS and glass. Looks good holds in hand well. Made in USA.
Buzz pro blems might still be available. Saber stardust special vapor moon.
My next mod Carvela by Pedro.
