most will tell you juice will stay good for 2 years, which is the case for some but some juices will turn dark if its originally clear in about a year and that's when I toss them. Also keep in mind that what taste bad today might taste better in a week or a month as the flavors get to settle in together.

I've read this alot! The art of steeping as I've been told, some flavors need that steeping time to mature most say throw it in a drawer, but some say it can get worse never hurts to try though!

I've vaped some recently that I had for 2 years. A couple of the flavors were still decent, but slightly lacking in flavor. Another one seemed to have lost at least half it's flavor potency. I'd imagine it depends on the particular makeup of each juice and how it was stored. I did'nt take notice to any loss of potency of the nic.

absolutely, I have flavors that I love but have to buy or make more often as they only taste good between 2 weeks and 2 months. other juice I can leave sitting for months and it taste the same as when i opened the bottle.

also as malletman said avoid sunlight and heat, as they will help to speed up the nicotine break down.

Juice is a bit like wine, some improve with age ( like meself ;) ) , some just turn sour ( like _______ (insert your favourite shmuck here))

One year is what makers commonly stamp on their bottles to keep themselves on the safe side. How long it really lasts depends on a lot of factors such as composition, nic level, storage conditions...

I make my own ejuice and was advised to keep it in the fridge if you aren't planning on using it within 6 months. I keep my base liquid in the fridge, but I vape all day so I never have to worry about my flavors going bad. I do use a steeping method with freshly made ejuice however that seems to help the flavors blend. I take a deep bowl (if I am doing several flavors at once) or a coffee cup fill with enough water so the bottle of ejuice doesn't fall over and microwave to boiling (do not put the ejuice bottles in the microwave!). Place the ejuice with the cap removed (but not the dropper cap). Leave the ejuice in the water until it is completely cool (I leave mine overnight). Recap and use as usual. Don't expose your ejuice to heat after steeping. Some flavors may still need a few days to blend completely. Since most manufacturers don't do this, it should be ok to steep an ejuice you've bought recently. I have done it before and it has always seemed to improve the flavors (unless it was completely horrible to begin with). Hope this helps. :)

I tried a new flavor today and it is pretty bad. I can tolerate it just enough not to throw it out. My plan is to keep it around and use as a backup in case I ever run out or juice there will be some around.

I don't see an expiry date or anything. The flavor is called Lexport Hey (tastes like Export A my ...)

Do a search on here for steeping e-liquid. The simple thing is to stick it in a dark closet out of the way for month and then revisit one day when you are bored, if it still taste bad to you, it may just not be a flavor for you.

If you have recently started vaping and dropped analogs, be prepared for your sense of smell and taste to do some strange things. There were flavors that I tried in the first week or so vaping that seemed good at the time, but now that my sense of smell and taste have gotten so much better I can't stand them. My big example is a tobacco flavor I bought that was great for a week or so, that now taste like a bouquets of flowers that burns my nose.

Also remember that there are a ton of variables involved in how you receive your vapor. For instance, if you try a flavor in a store that you really like, but get a bottle home and don't like, it could be related to a difference in vaping equipment. For example if you try a sample of the the liquid in a stardust type clearomizer, then go home and fill up a pro tank on a VV or VW device the flavor profile can change dramatically.

Hope this helps, stick with it, you will find flavors that work well for you. I guarantee you will probably find a myriad of flavors that work for you and you WILL spend good money on flavors that taste like monkey-.... to you.

I'm still pretty new to vaping myself but this has been my experience so far. Hope this helps a little.
