Hi all,
I bought a pair of efest 18350 batteries. They are my first 18350 ones and they work roughly for 2-3 hours!
Is it the way they are supposed to be? This is a very short time and I have to change them frequently
Thanks

My Efest last 4-6 hrs. I'm sure it depends on what device your using & how much you vape. Mine are used in a Vamo.

What's your device & vaping style?

hillbilly20,

It depends on the batteries and the way they are used.

I use 18650 3400 mAh batteries with The Natural and RSST or VAMO V2 and AGA-T2 using 1.8–1.9 Ω coils. One such battery is enough to vape the entire 3 ml tank of the liquid built in RSST or AGA-T2. The battery voltage drops from 4.2 to 3.6 V.

I didn’t measure the time because the amount of the vaped liquid is more relevant.

Attention: I use VAMO in No. 1 (AVG) mode with preset voltage because in No. 2 (RMS) mode it drains the batteries much faster and decreases their capacity over the time.

It depends on the transformer(s) being used in your mod. The resistance of those coils+resistance of your cartridge and maybe the addition of the minute resistance on the battery itself will be the Resistance factor. You'll also need to know the discharge rate of your battery..which is more than likely 70%. With my 18650 2600mAh battery, with only the input of my cartridges resistance(2Ohm) to get the current, I will get .91 hours of consecutive operation. The addition of the resistance of the transformer(s) coil will increase the duration of length. This is being able to hold the button down continuously. Obviously one would have to respirate oxygen at least on a few occasions in that hour, but it does sound about right for your battery to last only a few hours with constant use.

I=V/R

If you want to stick with that battery style, you can always try to find a higher capacitance or mAh..which is mili-Ampere hour.

Same here. I vape 2-3 ml per day at 7 watts and the Efest 18350s last me 2-3 hrs. These are only 800 mAh batts. Strangely, the Efest 18500s are 1100 mAh and last me six hours.

I dont find much difference in my Efest from FT and the AW's I recently ordered from a very popular US vendor, with the exception that one of the AW's I got is not very good as in does not last long. Im talking 18350's. Also of the 4 Efest I received, one was DOA. One of my AW's and two of my Efest last me around 4 to 5 hours. One of the Efests last around 2 to 3 hours, one of the AW's last me about 2 hours or more, so I cant really say one is better than the other at this moment.

wow I am shocked. I use a CE4 tank 2.3 ohm, with an ego 650 battery and it will last me at least 12 hours before needing to switch. I am a noobie at vaping, but I am assuming that the 18350 battery lasts longer than a 650mah ego battery.

My Vamo v3 setup has a 18650 battery which will last me at least 3 days. I just ordered two 18350 batteries to make my Vamo form factor smaller. I will post my personal results.

I buy my AW IMR 18650s from RTD also, they always seem to perform very well for their mAh ratings. Use these in my Provarii.
I get my other batteries from Fasttech usually. I have a couple Panasonic 2250mAh 18650s I use in my Vamo and a couple of Samsung protected 18650s I use for my mechanicals.

I vape at 4.3V on a 2.5 Ohm stock coiled Protank and the 18650s usually last 1.5 to 2 days. Vamo at 7 watts with 1.9 Ohm custom 6 wrap coil of 32 gauge A-1 Kanthal typically lasts 3 days on the Panasonic 2250mAh. Mechanicals don't see enough use to gauge it yet, and the samsungs are 3400mAh.

I generally get about a workday's use out of my Efest 18350's. In exchange for safer battery chemistry and high drain capability, we trade capacity. This tradeoff is made more apparent by the small size of the 350. There's only so much magic chemical goo the manufacturer can cram into that little cylinder and maintain the safety of the battery.

There are unprotected ICR batteries available, and some 18530's advertise a 900mAh rating.

I wouldn't use those in any APV where the device's protection circuitry is of unknown quality and performance.
