I have ego C batteries that I have been charging every day for three weeks. How long can they be recharged? Do they last forever? I want to know so I have some new spares in case they both quit the same day,

Depends on the type. Joye batteries tend to last longer...ymmv. I have some that last over a year. Reports here of fasttech can be a few weeks. I've had a few Visions that have lasted 5-6 months. They don't last forever. You can extend battery life by recharging often, even before it uses all the charge.

The one way to fry both batteries in the same day is, when you put an atty or clearomizer on one battery and it fries the battery, then put that same coil on another battery. Almost everybody has done that at least once if they're been vaping a while. What happens is the ohms in the coil have dropped below @1.0 ohms and that creates a short in the battery.

It can vary a lot. I have a couple of Smoktech eGo batteries that I've had about a year and a half that are still going strong. True...I rotate my batteries regularly so no one gets constant daily use. I've had a couple of kGos (another "type" of eGo made by SLB I think) die suddenly after only a few months fairly heavy use...and a couple other kGos that are chugging along fine. I have Joyetech eGos that go back to early Spring 2012 that are still going as if new, and I even have one "no name" eGo I got on eBay that...amazingly...is a little powerhouse. My Better Life eGos work terrific and have done so for well over a year. BUT...again...I obviously have many batteries (back ups for my back ups's back ups, then back ups for those back ups) so I spread the usage and frequency of charging out over devices and time. The eGo devices are relatively inexpensive. Pick up an extra or two every month...next thing to know you have a tidy stockpile!

I haven't been vaping long enough, my 2 Triton 650mAh can vape as long now as they were out of the box some 5 weeks ago. But they won't last forever. You'll get less and less "puffs" per charge.

Lithium Ion batteries will last longer if they are not always taken to the "blinking LED" depleted stage. In other words, your batteries will last longer if you recharge them BEFORE they force you to.

For those of you with more advanced mods, this is a good reason to utilize a "puff counter". If you normally get 800 on a full charge, consider only going to 400. This advise is very useful for a mod like the MVP2 that doesn't have a replaceable battery.

Hey, kids, this is also true with iphones, laptops, any device that uses these Li-Ion batteries.
