How long does it take?

Hi all,

I just got a Joye 510 from cignot.com (my first PV). I blew out the primer fluid from the atty but it still tastes pretty bad. I think I read somewhere that sometimes you have to "break in" a new atty before it starts to taste right. How long should that take?

I only know from personal experience it doesn't take too long. I always drip liquid directly on it and just puff on it for a while that way until it's gone.

Maybe about a week to fully break in. The primer taste should go away in about an hour of moderate vaping. I usually drip on to the atty until the taste is gone.

ok, so maybe it's the carts that taste bad...I don't have any liquid yet, so I am vaping the prefills that came with my 510 from cignot....

other than this crappy taste though I really like it... throat hit, vapor.... pcc is pretty cool too!

Hmm, dripping seems to tell me two things:

1. My atty doesn't have a bad taste.
2. The juice in this pre-filled cart DOES.

LOL, what juice did ya drip? Are they the infamous 'MLB-HIG'' prefilled carts? I like MLB HIG ok actually. Funny too, because I only smoked Newports or Kools. I have some of the cignot/ecopure menthol though and its really really good.

I meant to add...I dripped a different flavor then put the blank cart that came with the atty on. That's how I know it's the juice and not the atty that tastes so bad.

Yeah it's the MLB HIG carts. They're nasty.
I dripped some English toffee and it was pretty good.

Can anyone tell me where I can order some great-tasting pre-filled carts? I don't really want to worry about filling my own until after I figure out how to use the e-cig itself...one step at a time.

Urgh, my friend at work wants to try this thing but if he tastes this MLB HIG he will stick with his nasty analogs...

also make sure you're lining up the cartridge correctly. they melt very easily. YUK!

I have enough juice to make it until an order gets here...but now I gotta figure out where I want to order juice from and how much...

bottles come in 3ml 10ml and 30ml sizes it looks like. Approx how many ml fills a single cart? I counted 15 drops but don't know the drop-to-milliliter conversion. (chuckle)
