Got a couple of sample eliquids and opened to smell them and got a strong alcohol smell from two of them. I took the caps off yesterday and left them off for a day so far. Still can smell a bit of alcohol in them. How long should I let them breath?

Shaking vigorously twice a day, breathing a few hours twice a week but I would fill a tank with a couple mls and taste as the week goes on.........
I wouldn't let them breathe longer than overnight. I'm at a point where I no longer let my eliquid breathe, I actually don't remove the caps until 1st use. Extended exposure to air can cause accelerated oxidation.
and the actual alcohol will still be there ;-)
if it taste fine, vape it. i wouldn't worry about a little smell of alcohol as it will never all go away. once it's mixed with pg/vg it becomes harder for it to evaporate.

Also try a warm 10 min warm water / hot 100 - 120 deg (below the top) bath a couple times, shaking in between then tack the tip off the second bath while warm ...........

I found the ones with that alcohol smell needed the longest time - and did just what was recommended. Shake, pop tip, and breathe until it wasn't as bad.
Found that smell mostly in Vanilla's and Tobacco's...and sometimes it went away, sometimes it lingered a long time...
