Smoke free for 42 Days, 17 Hours and 16 Minutes
vaping paid for itself on 6/5/10 12:36 PM
I have now saved $15.72

Yes, I have an Excel spreadsheet to calculate that...LOL..
Can't get much geekier than that.
Plus the USB passthrough, never would have thought I'd be plugging my cigarette into my computer....Sheesh...

Congrats to you too.

Good for you, that's great!!!! I love hearing the success stories.

I have not had a smoke in over 4 months and it has not been easy. However, it has been the easiest attempt at quiting ever. I think that for me it's like being an alchoholic, I will always be a smoker, but with an e-cig I can live without it and my family can still put up with me.

That's how I feel. I'll always be a smoker...I'm just not smoking today if I can help it. Takes the pressure off. Well, that and the vaping.

haven’t smoked nor wanted to smoke a single cigarette since my e-cig arrived may 28th. it’s been a completely painless transition—i’m seriously still shocked at how easy it is, considering i had been smoking close to a pack a day of nat sherman classics for almost three years.

converting my smokerfriends, one by one. boyfriend was the first proselyte!

Quit on the first day, my signature shows how many days ago.

Never wanted to even try it again, but...

I had probably three very vivid dreams over the last year where I wanted to smoke and I did smoke a real one.

So I am glad that my conscious overpower my subconscious.

I have had a few dreams too. I'm out and about and my e-cig dies and so do all my backups. Then the next thing I know I have a cig in my hand.

One good thing, if it actually happened I have converted over half my friends to e-cigs. So for a change, I could bum an e-cig rather than a smoke. Not that I want that to happen, but hey you never know.

i've been half and halfing on and off since my first 510 arrived in February 2010, i have steadily been reducing my analog usage since then. i got my 801 about a month later and that drastically reduced my analog usage. in fact i haven't had a single analog in 3 days and don't really want one. i almost bought a pack of Primetimes at the gas station, just because they were reallllllly cheap, but the guy ahead of me got the last of the specials, and i was a little peeved, then my annoyance turned to relief. i didn't even want an analog, was just shocked to see them soooo cheap. i love vaping at least as much as i ever did smoking. in fact the longer i vape the more i love it.

I wish I could say that I have not smoked a cigarette since I started vaping, but I still smoke with my morning coffee. But I have gone from 2 packs a day to 6-8 cigarettes in the last month.

That is still awesome!! Pat yourself on the back for that, we all know how hard analogs are to quit you will get there eventually!! :):)
