Ok so I am on the 2nd week of not smoking. I only vape. I only vape outside and I guess I do that evey 30 minute or so for 4 or 5 puffs. I have a 1350 mah c-twist (vpro) brand.
At first I was charging once a day but the past couple days the times have been getting shorter. Today I had to charge twice. Is the battery on the way out or am I being a little over cautious? :vapor:

How long the battery will last mainly depends on two things (how long you have the button pressed and what resistance the atomizer is in ohms). Age of the battery and number of charges also factor in but in your case those should not be noticeable if your device is new.

306 with a 1.5 ohm atomizer to 449 5 second puffs on one that has a 2.2 ohm atomizer is a really really rough guess assuming the mAh is accurate and it gets fully charged.

Make sure the spinner is charging up fully......the light should go red when you first plug in on the USB, it won't turn green til charged.
Just checking, cuz I had one that stayed green the whole time LOL

spinner 1300 "should" last, under normal circumstances, 9-12 hours.....unless you are using low resistance, or dual coils, the latter will run it down pretty fast (BDC coils, protank 3, etc. )

If you want better quality you would get Joyetech or Vision or Smoktech. My last Joye lasted me all day for 2yrs.

I don't think r77r was talking about a topper (i.e. Tank, clearo, carto, rda, etc..), kohung. Vision and SmokTech do make excellent batteries. I have several that are well over six months old, and I'm still getting 8-9 hours on them. Note: I vape like a FIEND lol...all day long, while I work either at home or in the office..

Not sure if your eGo is a Joye eGo or a generic eGo. The complete absence of IE property laws in China allows Chinese manufacturers to Shamelessly rip each other and us off with copy each other's work, with no notice of the imitation (i.e. You can't put the logo from the original on the clone.) so you, the buyer, can't tell the difference.

Hoosier eCigs sells genuine Vision Sidewinders and Spinners in a huge selection of colors and finishes. Grab two of those and you should be good for well over a year, given that you actually keep your vaping under control! (Nice. I wish I could do that lol..)

Or do a search, they're all over the place..under 30 bucks.

Will depend a lot on your personal vaping habits.

Most manufacturers claim about 300 recharging cycles - after that the chemistry is likely to go downhill fast.

Like any mass-produced stuff, manufacturing tolerances do vary some. Has batts that zonked out after barely a dozen times on the charger while other just keep going and going. Oldest ego batt on 'active duty' 's about to crack the 18 month-mark and shows no signs of letting up yet...

Out of curiosity, where did you get your battery? Vapage - who makes some decent products - sells a "Vpro" battery, but the largest I see on their site is 1100 mah. I did a quick google and that's about all that popped up.

Just wondering whether yours is a decent battery or a knock-off.

Seems to me that you're not getting much life out of your 1350 mah battery if you're only taking 3-4 puffs every 30 minutes -- even if you're using BDCs.

I have 650 mah Kanger batteries - both variable and not - that are still OK after some 10-12 months. Haven't tried the BDCs, though. I only drip these days.

I've went through quite a few ego batteries before (recently) switching to a mech mod. Most were name brand from reputable source and a few were no name junk from a local B&M store. The only ones that I have been satisfied with have been the ones from volcanoecigs.com. Knowing what I know now, I never would have shopped there. They are more expensive than many places, few choices, and they seem a bit gimmicky looking back on it (similar to Blu, but not quite as bad). I have bought 4 "Inferno" (ego) style batteries from them. The first 2 lasted for a year charging every day before I thought they were dying and I bought a second set, although it turned out my batteries were fine and I just got a crappy batch of atty's. When I thought my first pair were dying, I ordered a second set. The second set lasted 3 years charging every day. One of them was a pass through version 350mwh and the other was 900mwh. The 900 was as good as the day I bought it after 3 years of use despite being dropped frequently and is only dead now because of an unfortunate accident with my dog's leash which ripped the top off of the battery and broke all of the wires. The passthrough didn't fair quite as well, after about 2 years it had basically no battery life and was only useful in passthrough mode. Most of my time on egos was using smoktech mego dual coil cartos which measure out to 1.5ohms, so I was pretty tough on them. If I were to go back to egos, that is all that I would buy.
