C-Twist Battery charging

I purchased a VPro c-twist starter kit recently. I pulled a totally noob move and did not charge the 8 hours the first charging, I just charged till the light went green.
I have charged tqice so far. Can I still do the eight hour charge or have I totally screwed the battery?

Lithium ion batteries don't need the 8 hour first charging. They have no memory like the NiCad batts. Don't know why suppliers still put the 8 hour thing in the manual. So you're good. See:
