How long should my battery last?

I have a joyetech eGo-C2 650 mAh Upgrade Battery I've been using for a month now. How long do these rechargeable batteries usually last? I've just been charging it when the light turns blue which means 20% life left as far as I know. Will charging before that lessen its life?

Actually, charging it before the battery dies (discharged) will help prolong it's overall life. Ego batteries are designed to last approximately 250 - 300 charges lifetime. At that point, it will not hold a charge as well and should probably be replaced.

The mAh rating is an approximation of how long the battery should last under normal use after a full charge. 100 mAh is = 1 hour use. So your 650 mAh battery can be expected to last 6.5 hours on a full charge.

I think it's alright to charge it any time. As a general rule of thumb it's often stated that you get 1 hour for very 100mah of battery capacity, so your battery would last about 6.5 hours. In reality it's gonna depend on exactly how you use it as far as how long a charge will go.

Ego's should be looked at like a consumable. Chances are it will fall apart, short or the thread will strip before the battery gives up. I can't get one to last a month, that's why I use mods now. My wife uses them and charges non-stop and hers last 2-3 months before they're junk.
