In general (for others - I don't think this applies to kgo except maybe the liquid in the connection area part)
If an
ecig has a short safety cutoff and you drag or activate it long enough to reach the limit, the battery will flash and some will also disable themselves for 5 to 60 seconds to enforce a timeout. Some ecigs have a very short cutoff (only allow short drags) like some allow a 5 second drag. Some I use (Vapor4Life) have a very long custom 10-13 second cutoff.
If an ecig has liquid between the carto or atty and the battery threads, it will short and cause the flashing and may enforce a timeout.
If you bought automatic
batteries or any battery with an open hole into the inside, then
juice leaks can get in there and cause internal shorts or makes the drag switch sticky so it stays on for a while after you finish dragging (which can cause you to get a timeout) and at worst will kill the battery.

Kgo - I don't know what the Kgo light is supposed to do. The light on the battery changes color according to charge? never heard of that. But if it's doing something odd take a tissue, fold into a soft point, and make sure there is no liquid in the valley between the battery post and the threaded collar.
