I have been using RDA'S for a while now, this is because I have a worry that a manufacturer will stop selling it's prebuild coils.

For example I own a Triton, Atlantis 2 and a TFV4, what would happen if the manufacturer stopped selling its prebuild coils, it would then be useless.

This is why I bought an RTA tank like a Billow V2 and some drippers.

Would this ever happen, or am I worrying about nothing?

You are not alone in your worries.

I get more than a month out of my coils now. I'm very careful. In the beginning I was crushing them. Thinking abt stocking up on everything!

For as long as he can make money doing it. It's also possible other manufacturers will make clones that work. Eventually you will rebuild. For me rebuilding is 15 minutes once a week which is realistic if your e liquid doesn't have sugar or flavors that gunk things up.
For me its (on average) 10 minutes in two months... And I mean rewicking. To change a coil - additional 10 minutes (once in a half a year? Have not figured it yet.) RTA, if you will.

It's not just how long spare coils are made, it's how long will you be able to get them...

Many threads here that discuss the current antics of various gov't agencies about 'regulating' all things vaping.

A handful of coils might or might not make it past the prying eyes of customs.
But once I know from a specific atty how much 'mileage' I get out of a coil with my favourites juices, I reorder spares to stock up.
Better even if they're rebuildable.

Have not found a coil yet that can not be rebuilt better than it was new. I have hundreds of coils all rebuilt. I do not think there will ever be a problem not getting them. I have ordered some things that I never thought I would receive and they showed up in my mailbox. I do not think customs would even have time to look for coils and vape gear anyways. You know china is not going to stop making things that sell. I ordered five Triton/Atlantis just to test. Smok makes rebuildables as well.

This site can't be legit can it? It's so cheap, I have been paying loads for all my coils and stuff and this website seems amazing! Is this a legit site?

This topic interests me as well. I did some digging on YouTube and came up with two Aspire coil rebuilds, and they are the most accurate videos I have seen so far b/c the builders build a vertical coil! Typically you find horizontal coil rebuilds for the coils/atomizers and that is plain wrong.

@MoltoCraft oh yes Fasttech is very legit...I order almost all my stuff from there.
But there are some things to keep in mind when ordering from them:

- If an item says "authentic" it is, if an item says "styled" it's a clone (not necessarily a bad thing)

- if an item does not say "in stock" or "ships next day" it may be a while (could be a few days up to a few weeks) before it is shipped.

- If you have multiple items, and some are in stock and some are not, split your packages (shipping is free, so why not), so all items that say "in stock/ships next day"are in 1 order and the others ones in a separate order to speed up delivery time.

- shipping is free, but can take a few weeks (longest I waited was 1 month)

- you cannot buy products from the "Aspire" brand with your CC or Paypall....for those items you have to get a gift certificate, which can be purchased at their mobile site, or can be aquired by ordering something else and than canceling it and get an instant rebate in the form of a gift certificate.

- you can at any time cancel an item if it has not shipped yet.

- check for which amount of $$ you can import without having to pay import taxes, split your packages to stay below that amount. Fasttech labels packages always with a low amount to avoid this, but sometimes customs still intercepts and you have to pay the taxes.....but it's very unusuall for this to happen.

- orders above $20 get free tracking, orders below recieve no tracking number

- check the reviews on items from the other FT users (especially clones)

I's a great site, with great customer service.....just keep the above in mind when ordering from them, and you'll have a blast!

It's legit alright.
Been orderin plenty from them - no issues.

drugarth summed it up nicely about the finer points.

And free shipping means they pick the transport with the lowest costs. Like strapping your order on the back of a snail and tossing a salad leaf westwards :)

Has the beneficial side effect of learning Zen: Contemplating the flow of time while watching your mailbox for the shipment to get there :)

Why are they so cheap though, the coils are next to nothing and they have massive discounts? Any other site costs loads more to buy from?

I do not speak for the co in question or a competitor.

They could be selling knockoffs, or they could have purchased tens of thousands of these products at wholesale, and then selling close to wholesale to capture market visibility.

A lot of food stores do this. Cereal on sale, but all milk is 75 cents higher. You would need to check all prices on the site to see what their marketing strategy is.

Well, the authentic coils they sell are quite a bit cheaper than at local shops, but I wouldn't call it "next to nothing". The really cheap coils on FT are nockoffs, the authentics (look for the word "authentic" in the description) are about half price compared to local shops, but I find plenty more chineze sites with similar prices (maybe a bit more, but not much)...still it's pretty nice

How they can be so cheap? Probably a question of scale, and low chineze tax/labor costs etc. at least that is my guess
