How long should a 18650 take to fully charge? Mine has been on the charger for 3 hours now and the light is still red. I thought that I read somewhere that you should not leave them on the charger for more than 3 hours. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

It depends on whether your battery was completely dead when you put it in the charger or not. I would get your multi-meter out and pull out that battery and see what the volts are....keep us posted. 
sometimes the lights on the chargers don't change. You could take the battery off and give it a shot. You can also take the battery from its position and place it on the other charging side to see if the light changes color. Sometimes one side works better than the other. I would recommend getting a mulitmeter from a local hardware store or Walmart and check your batteries. We can help you figure it out.

Mine usually take a couple of hours, but if they are really drained I would think they could take an hour or so more. I think it really depends on the charger you are using. I use the WF-188.
Adding to Rhapsodies Fire's advice, try removing the battery from the charger, unplugging it, then plug it back in. The lights should be green whilst empty. Then go ahead and insert your battery, and the light should immediately turn to Red, even if it was fully charged recently. At least from there you can determine if the charger is functioning properly.
The longest I have ever had an 18650 on the charge is 3 3/4 hours, that was after I had completely depleted it. If you have a Harbor Freight Tools near you, they sell a good little digital multimeter for $10. The other hardware stores sell the digitals for much more $30-$140, and the only ones under $20 are the old school tach style meters, but they still work good.

If there is not a Harbor Freight near you, I picked up a nice GE digital multimeter from Walmart for $15-$16. Walmart has different multimeters in different sections of the store, automotive and lighting.
