How many coil heads do you get that are duds on average

For vivi nova's I've got maybe 3 bad ones out of 20+ heads, Stardusts around 5 bad ones outta 20+ heads, iClear 30 exactly 5 bad outta 6, Protank 2 out of 4

You must have the worst luck in the world. I never got a dud. Either way, I usually vape on the original head a little and then disassemble it completely, preferring to rebuild the head to my liking.

Maybe I'm just lucky but I've been using Protanks and Kanger T3s and T4s for a couple months now and haven't had any duds yet.

Zero. Where are you buying them from? Also you may want to keep the vivi duds to rebuild later on.

I had bad bad luck with the EGO-C tank system attys. Killed 4 in 2 weeks.

With my protank and CE5s no duds and have managed to do in ONE protank atty and roughly 6 weeks. THough one of my CE5s I think is ready for a new atty at about 5 weeks vaping it.

My general rule: Don't buy a head you can't recoil/rebuild. This goes especially for vapers (like me) who like to nuke the crap out of their atomizers while dry burning (i.e. turning the voltage up to insane levels to make sure all of the gunk gathered up on the coils just flies away magically).

Been using VNs since Dec ? last year and have not changed a coil yet. I have one that is not going to last much longer though. Used oh, about 8 Stardusts before that and never had a bad one. I dry burn these regularly to keep the coils from getting too gunked up and they threat me well in return. Most of the Stardusts bought from Happy Vaper and the VNs bought from Canvape.

Nova's, iClears, Evods and Protanks - Not one bad head yet. Come to think of it, i haven't replaced a head yet due to failure. I have popped a few doing stupid stuff like putting a 1.8Ω Coil on my bolt with stacked 350's, lol lasted about an eighth of a vape! i do dry burn my coils every couple of tanks or so to keep the crud off em tho.
