It depends on fill level, which varies from vendor to vendor. The V4L prefilled cartos have a lot of liquid in them, seem to me like 12 - 15 cigs' worth of vaping.
When I fill my own, I typically get more like 8 cigs before I need to top it off, but then I vape a lot and am not worried about really packing the most possible liquid in -- I carry 6 ml bottles of juice w/dedicated cartos in little ziploc bags.

carto lifespan is different. I run a day or two worth of use from a given carto before it's normally time to clean or toss. I'll use one of a couple of simple cleaning methods, dry them, and do a test -- if they're clean, take the new liquid well, great, otherwise it's time to toss.

I use an 801 cartomizer from MadVapes that initially holds about 40 drops. I refill it throughout the day with an additional 10 drops at a time as I sense the TH has diminished a little. On average these 801 atomizers last a week or a little more before they just stop working. (7-12 days) I use one flavor during the day and different flavor at night, so they are being used continuiously for about 8-9 hours during the day and I am a heavy vaper. Also, I use them on a 5 volt PV so there is probably more stress on them in comparison to a 3.7 volt PV. How long do most of you find your cartomizers to last before you pitch them?

I've had originally bought a 5 pack of empty cartos from Volcano when I ordered my Inferno. I initially filled three with some JC liquid. Of those three, I am still using one, I tossed one because it seemed that it wasn't working at all since I was just sucking the juice back out of it no matter how long I held the button, and the third I tossed because it had a heavy burnt plastic type taste. The fourth carto I filled with a non-nic flavor, but barely use it. And the fifth I've just started using now. The funny thing is, of the five that I've filled, only one works in at a superior level. The other four were either mediocre, or have been trashed.

I did purchase a pack of 5 carto's from my local vape shop, but these have the polyfill in it, which I wasn't used to. They seem to work a lot better than the ones that I got from Volcano, but it seems that I am still trying to figure these things out.

For the most part I use V4L prefilled that I top off 3-4 times a day, mostly I’m paranoid about running them dry. I rotate between 4 flavors and the cartos last about 2 weeks before I toss them. I have a horrible habit of biting on them so after the two weeks is up they look pretty junky. :p

Every now and again I’ll get one that only lasts a few days before I end up tossing it and the blanks I fill myself can last around 1 month!

I vape constantly, I work from home, using only V4L batteries and 18 mg juice.

Been using the same 3 ce2 xl carto for about 3 weeks now and they are all working great. I fill them about once a day, one is almost always on my pt, other on my ego, third one on my sidshow battery. Had some of the old style carto(materal stuffing) that only lasted about 2 days each before they became impossible to get vapor thru. Ce2's will be the only ones I'll use now.
