I was just trying to figure out how many carts I go through a day and I can't really tell because I use 5 batteries + 5 carts that I rotate through all day. They never get used up because I top them off at night. I will say that I don't seem to go through much e-juice. A 5ml bottle seems to last for 2-3 days.

This probably doesn't help you much. Sorry!

I would consider myself to be a heavy vapor and I work in an office building, so I rotate 3batts with the usb charger (at work and go threw 3-4 carts a day at 36mg. I started to supplement in cigs to slow my vaping down and wound up a half a pack and 3 carts a day habit, which is not smart. I in the process of getting back to vaping only. I have what you might call an addictive personality, so I may not be the best one to go by lol

Coming from a pack-a-day menthol light smoker, I go through on average about 3ml a day (or about 3 carts.) Although I do rotate between 3 to 4 carts at a time, so some days I don't refill at all, and some days I refill 5 or more carts, but 3ml is approximately my daily average (keep in mind that I vape mostly 12 mg juice - that number would probably go down if I increased the nicotine amount.) ;)

Exactly what is the difference in battery lengths? Do the long & x-long batteries last longer than a short battery?

I like the look and feel of the shorts because they are closer in size to regular cigarettes. I have a long on order but haven't gotten it yet so I don't know really what to expect of it.

The bigger the mAh rating, the longer the battery will last. The XL's are 380mHA, the regulars are 280 and the shorty is 180. I haven't tried a shorty yet, but I've found that a regular lasted me 4-5 hours, where an XL lasts me 8-9 hours (regular use, not chain-vaping). However, the shorty and regular batteries will fit in a PCC, so you can keep them topped off easily. I understand that V4L is working on a larger PCC case that will accommodate the XL batteries. I also recommend a pass-thru - they work great and also operate at a little higher voltage than the batteries.
