I'm curious how many drops you guys add at a time and how often when you drip. I have noticed too much juice just murders my coil performance so what is the magic combination of drops and the amount of vaping between them for you?

For me cotton seems to stay wet longer so I don't have to add as much at a time. To be honest I'm getting better more consistent vapor with silica on .8ohm dual coils. If I add a little too much it's easier to "fix" with a long slow vape or two.

Give or take 1 drop per 2 pulls on average is working well for me. How about you?

Good info so far much appreciated. It's definitely a feel out process every new coil and setup.

I have a Helios, too. Here is a shot of it, 0.6 Ohms, 30 gauge.

So with this configuration and cotton wicks, I comfortably drop in 12 or so drops without any leakage. The Helios is such a great atty!

I use standard 510 Joyetech atomizers, with the bridge intact.

The number of drops I drip depends on these factors...
--How big the drops are that my bottle produces
--How willing my atomizer is to accomodate any given number of drops
--The thickness of the juice in terms of PG/VG ratio

I imagine that for RBA/RDA drippers even more factors come into play.
--Such as what wicking material are you using?
--How big is your reservoir?
--Where are your air holes located?
--How many coils do you have?
--What is the resistance of your coils?
--How many watts are you running?
--What kind of clouds are you aiming for?

Dripping is more of an art form than anything.

You either love it or you hate it.
You either get it or you don't.

I get dripping with an RBA/RDA even though I have never tried it.
Because I understand dripping.

You can too, without getting all technical about it.
Just get an simple 510 atomizer and start.

As others have said before, it's completely dependent upon the atomizer and juice/bottle you're using.

I dripped on standard disposable 510/901 atties for years, I found 4 drips was my sweet spot.

I'm dripping on a IGO-L with a small cotton wick right now, I probably put 6 in it on average.

You just get a feel for it. It took me a long time, but I've never known anything different and it's the best vape you can find.

There's really not a lot more to say on the subject than this:

I use a real helios and the amount i drip depends on how new my cotton is... with fresh cotton i can drip ~25-30 drops and vape solid for a few minutes. On worn out cotton that needs replacing, 6-8 drops and vape like a champ for 4-6 long pulls.. it all depends how much cotton you use and how fresh it is.. I personally never let my cotton get to the point where it NEEDS replacing.. I go ahead and rewick every day or two.. but I vape the hell out of strokanaut so
